FWIW yordan has played about half his games in the field this year Also “judge has all better hitting stats than yordan” except the only stat he leads is HR lol. Yordan Ks less, higher BA/OBP/SLG/OPS/WRC Judge is still absolutely the MVP so far this year, he absolutely rakes and is plus plus fielder, but give credit where credit is due on yordans season

Hot take: Marc doesn't watch Red Sox baseball, although his GF is a Red Sox fan, as he's had horrendous take about them the whole season. (Bashing the pitching in April, when it was our only saving grace back then, criticizing Devers' and Bogaerts' defense, which have been definitely improved, etc.)

Mike trout TTO is 49% which is the 4th highest in the league with at least 200PA. MLB average TTO is 33% Steven Kwan (13%) and Jose Iglesias (18%) have the lowest TTO The truth is Mike Trouts TTO has always been very high and usually top 15 every year. It has been rising slightly every year and It would probably go up this year a bit as he's walking 12.6 % compared to usual 18% or so the last few years. I would assume at the end of the year he will have around 53% TTO which is higher than his previous 46% in 2019.

With a wrc+ of 188 which is 3rd in all of baseball. Tied with Aaron Judge who has similar K and walk rates.. so if those are TTO guys to you then that's a compliment?

Saying that Alvarez doesn't have some better hitting stats then judge isn't true. Alvarez has a higher average, OPS and more RBI's. I still think Judge is mvp, but Alvarez isn't that far behind PS love the channels guys😁

I think it would go to consider the Braves infield being one of if not the best infields in the NL at least. Ozzie is hurt but Arcia has stepped up big time as well the catching combo with Olson heating up at the plate, Riley is Riley, and Swanson has been the best player, not just shortstop over the last month and a half. Worth a thought at least.

About the Twins take about losing in the ALCS is the most true thing I've ever heard. Idk why but the Twins have always been odd, even in their 100 win season they were still underwhelming. Also even as a biased Blue Jays fan, you gotta give the best closer in baseball to Josh Hader, he just is. But i'd honestly put Holmes number 2 or 3 easily.

As a tigers fan here are my 2 tigers hot takes. Riley Greene continues to be insane and wins ROTY. Currently he is 6 for 16 after 5 games. Javy Baez bounces back and ends with a good season. .250+ BA and over 20 homeruns. He is on a 7 game hitting streak. Also another take that isn't really a hot take or related to the tigers, but Jram is the 2nd best player in the league currently behind Judge.
