I have run a open breather on all my cars. Never had a problem with tuning or running.

Honestly, you could have fixed that with some jb weld and made it look factory. That’s not a high stress part at all. Not worth stopping momentum over. Couple things to mention that’s a felpro gasket kit, available anywhere. For next time , you can leave the heater tube connected to the lower intake, And remove after the intake is out of the car. Way too much hassle trying to remove while it’s mounted. The Fuel rail can also be left on the car if you are in a pinch and don’t have fuel line disconnect tools. All in all, you’re learning man. Just keep wrenching and have confidence in yourself. 💪

Those little front and back blue rubber under lower intake gaskets are the absolute best, one would have to be insane to use cork with those around,the guy that invented those little blue gaskets is in Jamaica right now under a palm tree for sure.

I replaced my intake over winter...switching to a 93 Cobra Intake. I think those silicone seals were on my old lower I replaced with the GT40 lower. I used cork ends and RTV'd the corners, like he instructed. Wish I had known about the silicone ends...but was told the cork ones are suffice. Good seeing you getting into the car 👍 Lots of fun learning, isn't it? Best way to learn, do it yourself.

In the future, use the fuel rails as a handle to remove and install

2 minutes into video and all i can say is WOW!ive gotten stuff from Fox Resto and seems like a good place but that shop area!!!OH my,looks like a junk yard out back and a bad one at that,crap everywhere.Im sorry,they may know what there doing and that may be normal for the are but i dont think i would take my washing machine by them!Im a professional Ford tech and also have my own shop and take pride in what my places look like along with my work.. A persons shop can say a lot about them..my 2 cents

What actually goes in that GIANT hole like a 2" hole in the back of the lower intake? Could someone send a picture and clarify this

the valve cover breathers work fine in fuel injected cars....i think he means if the pvc is hooked up,the valve covers do have to be a closed system and one hose out of valve cover and into the intake system before the throttle body..to say you cant use those breathers all together is totally false.

That Elderbrock intake didn't have the pcv hole in the back of the intake in I don't know if it's the right way or not but I seen a lot of guys running 2 air breather on both valve cover on efi car's I don't know a whole lot about Mustangs but I do have the knowledge of working on cars I have a 87 notch 4cyl ready to do a V8 swap in if the car wasn't in such good shape I would have never bought I figured the hell with it perfect platform no rust it was a old ladies car she tagged it 1-1-1988 it stayed in Florida to 2015 he tagged it but didn't do much driving in it I like in Baltimore, MD people say notch back's are easy to find not where I live if you do find 1 mostly likely a 4cyl car I have a 92 Gt for my part's car' I can use a lot of stuff off of that but the wiring harness I have the 89 Maf harness plugs right into my dash harness! I see people running those intakes all the time with no problems how much are the gasket kits for can u send me the info! I telling u I seen a lot of people with those air breather even were the pcv valve goes into the little whole in the back of the intake they have small air breather that fit right in the hole not saying it's right but seen a bunch of people who do it to efi car's in have no problems I glad my trick flow has that hole that blows about your intake why don't you go to the junk yard see if you can find a Explorer with a Gt 40 intake in just take the lower intake might cost u less in the long run! I have 90 fox...emaculant. so much time, tendencies, and perfection for 400rwhp,lol. Then I saw the LIGHT. C6 with a cam and blower 700+ rwhp. mustang is going to sit for awhile. but all your drama and get 300 rwhp. SWAP that bitch and go FAST...
