Look, my husband told me that he wanted to watch the second Croods movie, and although I did not want to watch it, I told him that I would, because I love him. Then, he went ahead and watched it without me! I was SO shocked and offended! Point is, don't watch movies without your spouse, even if it's a bad movie.

Fun fact: James Wan was set to produce this reboot and Greg Russo was hired as the writer but the two later left the project with Russo leaving in November 2018 and Wan in December 2018 to focus on their work on Mortal Kombat (2021). Johannes Roberts was later hired as both the writer and director.

It took me stupidly long to notice Kong in the fireplace 🤣. Gotta say the recreation of the opening of the first game doesn't look too bad when you compare it to the original. But then again the original came out in 96 on the PlayStation so that isn't exactly high praise

My favorite continual bits in like every zombie franchise, and I mean like every freakin' zombie franchise are zombies' ability to stay quiet while off screen and only make sounds once they show up on screen for the jump scare, like bruh, they've shown zombies faraway, in ear shot, moaning and limping toward meat/brains/whatever they eat but to build tension zombies have the ability to stay quiet until they're right on top of you then they start munching away and make sound
