My guess is that either the previous Santa had had the job for less than 8 years, or he'd had it so long that when he died time caught up to Mrs Claus and she instantly turned to dust.

Ok. This is a little technical. But here we go. Using an SM-57 is actually a better microphone choice for delivering speech from a lectern or if the mic is going to be held away from the mouth. SM-58 is used for vocals in the presence of other loud stage sounds because it is a very directional microphone. If you use a SM-58 and move more than 4” away from the mic, the volume will start to drop significantly unless compensated by speaking louder. Because nobody asked.

Omg lol I mean... if one night a year lasts 1,500 years, but the other 364 days go by normally... the rest of the year would feel like a blip, before it was time to spend another millennia stuck in the same night. Given how much they genuinely don’t care that the old Santa is dead probably multiple Santas per Christmas Eve the one that died by falling off Scott’s roof probably wasn’t the first one that night. Scott could be the first Santa in history to last more than a year which is why nobody not even Bernard knew about the Mrs Clause

Dammit, Jordan Breeding, I did some math of my own and have figured out you saved me 293 minutes (we'll say 280 if I skipped the credits), or four hours and forty minutes by not watching these movies. Also, fun fact: The elf-girl, Judy ("seeing someone in wrapping") had a one-episode role on Home Improvement in 1993, meaning she'd already (presumably) met Tim Allen. Thanks again!

I've seen all three of these movies over a dozen times. My family watches the whole trilogy every Christmas. They are untouchable in our house. It's so bad that when we went to the US on holidays, we ate breakfast at Denny's SOLELY because that's where they ate in the Santa Clause. I can quote the entire first film from memory.
