Thank you, thank you. It's because of guys like you that keeps the world running, and you don't get 1% of the recognition and praise you deserve. But just so you know, you are appreciated. Be encouraged.🌞🚜👨🔧🙏
Some people don't realize how much goes on behind the scenes of a business. You are doing a wonderful job making sure all the guy's get paid. All of you are doing an amazing job keeping the town open. ❤🇨🇦
I lived in Mammoth for a season in 92’. I was in 6th grade I went to Mammoth Elementary school, it was an El Niño winter. Snowed like crazy the snow was above the second story of the house.
This is a great channel really shows the problems when you get this much snow. What is interesting to me is what happens when it starts to melt. That is going to bring a host of new problems. Also I am not sure I would be walking under those big icicles!
I am in Canmore, Alberta Canada. Just outside Banff National park. I'd love to see snow like that here. Good Lord that is a load of snow. Epic! Love it. Keep the videos coming! Now I want to come check out Mammoth in the winter. Looks so awesome, like a cool adventure
What a operation. Thank God for people like you who love to work and do a great job keeping the snow moving off the areas to keep our lives safe. Thank you for posting the videos and the information is priceless for us who live in areas without your snow. Keep safe.
Suggestion: plastic chutes for roof snow, so you don't move snow 2 and 3 times. Gillette Stadium, they work great. 2 to 3 hundred guys prior to games as needed. Great job !! ⛄👀👍
you should make up some shirts with Plow bros on it. I'd buy one and will wear it when I come back up in the summer..showing my support for you guys. Have it say" we plow when others bow". Dis to the local companies doing shady shit up there.
Since the 80's... one of the worst Sierra storms I have ever experienced was on a February Presidents Day weekend. 1988??? A Huge Pineapple Express. We took off from Santa Cruz CA early AM. Got up to SugarBowl. Donner Summit, I 80. It was raining..,
No snow here on east coast so I’m watching you in awe of how much you get there. I do snow removal and spent a lot on new equipment this year for nothing it feels like. I had a thought on helping you out removing snow. I know they are expensive but I seen these dump trucks with heating systems on them that melt the snow right inside of them quickly. Maybe that would be helpful idk.
Bit of a stretch calling for any kind of weather patterns to happen weeks out, but you never know! Lots of winter left on the table, looks like in the mean time you guys have a good stretch of dry weather to get things under control!
@@plowbrothers365 Yeah I don't doubt it, but of course he's going off the weather models and the weather models have to be taken with a few grains of salt! The old saying 'don't count your chickens' comes to mind lol 🤣
New sub here and I just wanted to say, damn yous get a lot of snow lol.I live in Ontario Canada and we didn't get nowhere near the amount of snow you did 😂
Hay Ben, can you sell your fans some "plow Brothers " hats and make some T's ? Another great video. Clean it up boys. I'm coming up in a few weeks to go skiing ⛷️. Thanks again 🙏.
Did you get the $9K deposit thing sorted out? I shared your channel on the #BCStorm twitter feed and had some positive feedback from the weather chasers here in BC. Keep up the good work man!
At least the weather is giving you a break. Hopefully you'll get caught up before it snows again. Just remember to take care of yourself and get some sleep. If you go down I won't be able to watch these videos! : - ) (Just kidding of course) But seriously, take care of yourself because pushing past exhaustion is when very bad things happen.
Go to the hardware store and get several rolls of 3-4 mill plastic sheeting for the roofing crews to roll out a 10+ft wide strip of plastic on the roof so they can shovel the snow onto it and let the snow slide down the roof to the ground. Quit handling the shoveled snow so many times. Build a shoot to send the snow down off the roof.
I follow a guy who's a weather man out of LA. Yep, he's saying that the atmospheric river is not coming back to Northern California, but heading towards the Santa Barbara LA area
If I was 1800 miles closer, I wouldn’t mind operating an end loader for you. I had lots of experience working for the local municipality where I live in eastern Iowa. Stay safe!! You guys have to be starting to get burnt out!
use a two man cable to cut off the snow off the roof using a sawing motion - - Japan snow removal videos saving you thousands of dollars of payroll cost - - only take two men to do a complete roof - - try it
Not in Mammoth anymore currently, but Id come operate for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich from the bakery. When my family owned a company there is always maintenance of some sort and usually at the worst time.
@@plowbrothers365 I'm not far but swamped with work. The 980 and D10N was my old job for 25 years and a trackhoe now and then so if things go sideways, Ill be back.
In airports they have big gas powered melters. The problem though is a melter would require a ton of gas and might damage surrounding areas. Even if they did use them they would practically need a small nuclear reactor to power it
@@Gfysimpletons over 70% of that water goes to the food supply. When western Ag collapses due to drought in the Colorado River drainage, food prices will skyrocket nationwide, and farm based economies from Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and California will collapse. When the west stops growing alfalfa and lettuce a cheeseburger will be $25 in the US and you might wonder what you wished for.
I bet it was right there this morning I can’t believe the fluctuations from day to night. We were walking around in short sleeves at 2pm soon as that sun drops gets cold quick!
Looks like no way to put boards up there. Trucks have to be set up to have that. You would have to do as GT did otherwise ask the truckers who own these trucks. Lol
Do you ever hire load operators etc on a limited term basis? Say for instance, DOT employees that would want to take vacation from their regular employers to work for you or a couple weeks?
I don’t live too far away I’d come help if you need people! I live in pahrump,NV been building cell towers the past ten years out of Las Vegas. I’d be the right fit for one of those loaders!!
I operate an older 950 here in Reno at Sky Tavern ski park. If you need help let me know. I have a 5th wheel I can bring down and get to work. I’m a retired Marine and looking to make a little money. I’ve only got 3 years experience but slow and safe enough. Would be willing to come down and help out where needed!
Ok. I have a stupid question. That pit area has a large land mass around it. Why does snow have to dumped in that one pit with all that space? To bad Lake Meade is so far away. Someone could dump those thousands of loads in the lake.
