Salted "Egg Yolk" Tofu
Serves 2
1 can or box of chickpeas, liquid drained and rinsed
30g raw cashew nuts, soaked in hot water
1/2 cup plant milk (I used barista oatmilk)
400g firm tofu
1/2 cup corn starch
1 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp salt
Oil for frying
1 tsbp margarine or vegan butter
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
4 red bird's eye chilli, finely minced
4 stalks curry leaves
1 tsp mushroom seasoning
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp sugar
Pinch of turmeric for colour (optional)
Salt to taste
MSG to taste (optional)

1 tin atau kotak kuda, toskan cecair dan bilas
30g kacang gajus mentah, direndam dalam air panas
1/2 cawan susu (saya guna oatmilk barista)
400g tauhu
1/2 cawan tepung jagung
1 sudu kecil lada sulah
1/2 sudu kecil garam
Minyak untuk menggoreng
1 sudu kecil marjerin atau mentega vegan
4 ulas bawang putih, dipotong halus
4 biji cili api merah, dipotong halus
4 tangkai daun kari
1 sudu kecil perasa cendawan
2 sudu besar nutritional yeast
1/2 sudu kecil gula
Secubit kunyit untuk warna (optional)
Garam secukup rasa
MSG secukup rasa (optional)
