Do you feel that with the turbo it is not as fun driving curvy roads as being NA cause with NA you can wind it out more or is it even more fun?? Getting my g500x kit installed in a week!
Yo when they tuned your car what did you ask for to get the pops and bangs when you drive it? mine does it occasionally seem like it's keeping the turbo spooled up
HMBRZ that's true but I think excess fuel burnt off in the manifold or collector pipe would still have a slight spooling effect kinda like anti lag although I did mean it more as a joke
awesome...planning on this kit as well. how much extra cost over the kit price is necessary to get it running properly? i know the OFT+ tune is extra 700-800, what other options did you get?
Joshua VD that's all! Other than an oil cooler if you plan on running it on the track or similar, and I'm running a front pipe but other than that, that's it
Well that's actually just peak/spike boost, it's been this way upwards of a year no issues. Plus Shiv integrates overboost protection into tune, it'll throw a CEL if it was an issue, or hitting 12PSI for too long of a period. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe!!

GT86GT400 In my option it's the best because, Chris Riggs at SBD has by far the best customer service, the kit come with EVERYTHING other than OFT/Ecutek, Chris now supplies a TurboSmart BOV with the kit, a free $300.00 bonus that didn't used to come with this kit, kit now comes with piping coated wrinkle black as well as the I/C, free $350.00 bonus I know because I had my pipes powder coated, this kit has been tested, tried and trued by many, many people which made me really trust it knowing so many had tested it. The Facebook group in awesome, literally if you have a question those guys will get the answer, none of that BS non stop memes blowing up the feed. All that plus many more things is why I went, and trust SBD.

Yeah coming to think of it, it does look like he probably messed with the base timing on romraider lol because it only backfires on low engine load. I'm trying to get a SBD500x kit for my 86 by the end of the month. Need to change my clutch for now :P.
