So, a/c starts at stator,flows into rec/reg,then d/c flows into battery to charge it. ...so when/How do the lights tie into the system?

Hello my friend I have a feeling that you have a short somewhere in your scooter and that could be from the stator alternator that send lots of voltage to the cdi or is a bad cdi that makes voltage resistance so the easy way is to replace the cdi and see if the same problem came back

Hello, my scooter been sitting for a couple months and when i turn on ignition there is no sound coming from the fuel pump do you have any idea what the problem could be ? Thank you

could the rectifier be on the bottom right-hand side of the scooter by the stator. My lights just flash on and off if I hit a bump just out of nowhere

@@gmsmith5678 Hello my friend if your light flash on and off when you hit a bump I think you have a problem on a wire connection that is not tight or the yellow cable at the stator is not welded properly . Place the scooter on the center stand remove your scooter front cover check the wire that goes to your light and shake the wire and follow the wire to see if the cable has any cuts or brakes in the wire . Hello Merjim Jimenez you should have a multimeter amzn.to/3wmyjFh so you can check if any dc voltage get to your lights if you do not have that try to check if the plastic connector is clean and the connection do not have any corrosion also try to follow the yellow wire from the lights to the stator to make sure there is any brakes or cuts in the wire I hope this can help you

Mine was showing 14.7 just idling. Was blowing my headlight bulbs. Or only high beams would come on or flicker. Changed my rectifier and it's it's around 13 idling and my lights work now. Thanks

Hello Roland yes the stator always charge the battery but if you only keep your scooter at idling level you will fully charge your scooter battery in 8 to 12 hour but if you ride your scooter your battery will fully charge in 30 to 90 minutes. Thank you for watching my video

Hello my friend when you rev your scooter produce more electricity but if you place the blinker and or brake your scooter is using more electricity then is producing this can also happen if your stator poles heads a dirty or rusty or the inside of the flywheel needs to be clean with send paper .Thank you for watching my video

Hello my friend unfortunately battery really have hard time in cold weather or really hot weather the best you can do is to buy a new battery because your battery is losing cranking amps plug if is possible and you can connect your scooter to an outlet power source buy a battery tender to keep a good voltage flowing when you not riding your scooter that will give your battery a longer life . Hello my friend I think you have a good quality stator in your scooter that produce great power to your scooter for sure you have a 6 or 8 pole stator and yes sometime my battery light flash to but I not sure why . Thank you for watching my video

Hello Vasile my question is do you have any voltage in you battery ? because the little battery if you do not keep them alive with a battery tender they do not last to long and you can try to recharge them or buy a new battery if the battery is good the problem could be the wiring or the fuel pump that needs to be clean or replace. I’m building a stunt scooter and want the wiring a simple as possible, I’ve seen several People run no rectifier , I only want a killswitch, headlight, taillight, under glows, cdi, main for the motor, and that’s about it, I have no dash so no gauges , no turn signals, nothing

Hello the problem is the stator going bad is easy to replace but you need an magneto puller

Yep the there is a possibility of a light short in the harness wiring so the only way to find out the problem is with a multimeter and check for continuity

@@VirberelloScooterTips thanks for getting back to me . I've tested headlight harness and cannot find a short circuit... when I check he voltage regulator wit lights on voltage drops allot until I turn off or disconnected the headlight from the front

@@AmySimotics-lo7lt I had the same problem one time on my scooter I bought a motor on Amazon and the motor was not to good but at first that new motor was blowing my fuse all the time and the problem was a defective stator alternator
