Mobility scooter user here sending love, some pro tips, and a few other scooter options to this mini scooter series that's been featured in the last few videos! I use one to get around on a daily basis. Some words of wisdom for Ethan and Hila as they choose a scooter: - Mine only goes 5 mph (It's a go go elite traveler plus), but it's fast enough to tip sideways on two wheels when making a tight turn at full speed. After watching all their scooter videos, I'm pretty sure most of those people's scooters probably only go 5 mph. 5 mph looks and feels much faster when you're on it, especially when you're new to driving one and especially in crowded/indoor environments. So even 10 mph might be dangerous for Ethan lol. I do wish mine went faster though - especially when I'm outside traveling to the local grocery store. - Get one with shock absorbers if possible. Mine's about 8 years old and doesn't have that luxury. You feel every bump and crack in the sidewalks. - 3 wheeled ones are more nimble and can make a sharper turning radius, but they're more prone to tipping (i.e. the video they showed of the guy blocking the lady's car who got pushed over by the angry lady). Mine's 4 wheeled and it's pretty stable. In terms of the larger sized ones they looked at, they are beefier, but have a worse turning radius, which sucks if you're in an elevator or navigating store aisles. The roofed ones imo remind me of a personalized golf kart. - They seemed confused about how you drive the one with a swiveling chair. Pretty much all of these have hand triggers for gas and reverse, except for the EW 54 Coupe, which looks like it has a foot pedal. A lot of these scooters also feature a swiveling chair by default, which is nice when pulling up alongside a dinner table or work desk. Lastly, here's a few more purchase suggestions that looked like solid scooter options based on the specs they gravitated towards in this video: - EW 11 Euro (18 mph, 40 mile range, second optional passenger, anti-theft alarm) - Wrangler Recreational Scooter (11.4 mph and 18.5 mile range), - Triaxe Sport Foldable 3-Wheel Scooter (12 mph, 35 mile range, small, folds up into a pullable suitcase size) - EW 46 (13 mph, 35 mile range + steel bumper for Ethan when he gets crazy lol) - EW 52 (15 mph, 43 mile range with stereo system, fm radio, and remote key fob + anti-theft alarm) - EW 42 (3 wheeled, two tone paint style, 15 mph, 45 mile range, remote key + alarm system) - EW 37 Vintage Sporty (15 mph, 50 mile range) - Patriot 4-Wheel Scooter - Ventura DLX 4-Wheel Good luck Ethan and Hila on your adventure! The Gatsby is funny because in the Great Gatsby they ran over a lady in their car. So it's kind of perfect for a scooter. You know you're gonna be running people over in that. I'd actually vote for a cheaper one though, don't waste too much money on it lol. But I also love your commitment to the goof.
