What most people don't get is that boxing/shadow boxing is exactly like a dance trend. You have to learn the technique(s) and pacing first before doing the full dance.

@@expertboxing thanks man.. Okay so the part I have conflict with myself is.. When you say throw the jab,cross,hook..you say the hook is short,mid range punch as in front of face in front of chin!.. So if I throw a 1..2..at long range wouldn't the hook also be at long range since it comes right off the cross? It's something I've always struggled with mentally..I fight muay Thai and love shadow boxing so I try to be as realistic as possible when practicing real fight scenarios in shadow.. Thanks in advance. Gary
