Should I Text My Ex? 

Put yourself in their position. If you have ever dumped someone.. your either happy it’s over and slowly forget all about the person, or you see a few days/weeks later that you really miss the person. I’ve dumped girls and everytime the girl contacted me I felt bad for them and wish they would get over me. I’ve also dumped a girl and regretted it a few weeks later like hell and guess what I did? I REACHED out and got her back. I e also reached out to girls I’ve dumped 2 years ago but guess what, during that entire time I didn’t think a second about that girl.. I just wanted a easy booty call. I know it sucks but it’s the way it is. I got dumped a week ago and know if she doesn’t contact me within the next 1-2 months she is completely over me and that’s just the sad reality . After 2 months they should know.... much later is just a bootycall/ego boost

@Jason lol I’m a sista 😂 but that’s ok. Yes, I did reach out to my ex about a month after the breakup and I got a mouthful of abuse. It just made things worse. I shouldn’t have bothered because it didn’t help my case, if anything it probably sealed my fate. It’s been over a year since I broke up with my ex and so this post is pretty old but my advice is the same, don’t contact them. No matter how much you want to. You’re better off walking away like you don’t care and letting them rethink it and if there’s any hope at all, they’ll come to you. That’s just how it has to be my friend. Hugs to ya 😊

Update! Listening to Coach Lee’s videos before work and before bed has helped me a ALOT. It’s officially been 4 weeks since break up and found out ex is on Tinder already looking for rebounds. Not sure if I want him back now if he can easily move on to the next, but I am a little stronger now. I’m focusing on me. Like Coach Lee says, THEY walked away from you. Give them the breakup. You’ll be stronger and although he hasn’t reached out, he will feel the loss even more I stay in NC. If he tries to come back, I’ll hopefully know how to respond.

Since I’ve been broken up with my ex, I’ve noticed she’s putting on weight. I’ve lost 30 pounds and put on muscle in 2 months, I have also started a skin care routine, I’ve noticed her staring at me at work and I don’t know how to read it. Could this be a sign she misses me?

My partner was hurt and threw up her walls, giving me the silent treatment and I took the bait. I got upset and said “If you want to end this relationship then just say it” I know it’s a childish reaction. We messaged back and forth for months, then things spiralled until we broke up. We’re both too stubborn to reach out, assuming she may have residual feelings. But I’d rather be alone then ask for her back. But the best thing is to do me, improve in every aspect or at least the ones that count.

But I found out that he’s in dating/hookup apps which honestly makes me feel hurt because I’ve really been working on myself during no contact. I feel like ‘he knows he wants sex and to date other people but still doesn’t know what he wants with me so I don’t know what he plans to say or do in therapy.’ I honestly feel like talking with him about that topic because he’s been posting on IG quotes of ‘if something is important enough you’ll find for a way , if not, you will find an excuse.’ So I feel so confused and hurt with a little anger because I wanted to work things out (always) but he is seeking other people maybe for his sexual needs but still he lied to me when I asked him if he was in any dating sites. But the thing is... she will always be in doubt, and you'll always be needy, because she will eventually be hot and cold. NC is the best thing for you both as a couple. If this is a relationship to last a long time, it won't be over in just a few weeks or months. When she comes to talk to you, not as a friend, but as a girlfriend, is that when the goal was achieved.
