I’m 29 now. Played my first skate game when I was 16. I’ll probably cry a little bit when first playing this game just from the rush of memories that will be rolling in from skating with homies back in the day to getting out of school and playing this with them etc. good times.

I love how they still leave in the fails. On paper it could sound like a bad idea but it's really cool to just see all the physics and how this game will really function.

I really like them going for the free-to-play thing, as it completely removes any barrier to entry. They're kinda forced to make it cross-platform too which is great, since its absence would kinda undermine the accessibility

super excited! After the recent surge in ultra-realistic skateboarding sims (which I appreciate for their own merit) and the success of the TH remakes (same) I'm really hyped for that sweet sweet sweet spot in between. I think the "skate way" is the best way for me to have a skateboarding video game.

Love the agile approach full circle are taking with this pre alpha footage. Being transparent with your audience is a big deal and a big downfall of many developers in recent years - keep up the good work, I've got a feeling this is going to be an amazing game!

I have a big problem with this: And it’s that I wont ever want to stop playing. With these featured I will make this game a second life for me. Skate 3 has been therapeutic for me. Other skate games just don’t do it like you guys. This seems like a very enjoyable game that will be a stress remover for tons of people. Truly much love for you guys.

i love the way this has looked since the first look we got. i hope the ragdoll gets a lot of work to make characters react to falls similar to the euphoria system in older rockstar titles. this looks amazing imagine if the character felt heavy and only would go lifeless limp from head hits

As someone who started RU-vid over 13 years ago to make videos on EA Skate and still plays the franchise to this day, I really wanna get in on this.

I'm pretty much a new skate fan i picked up the game in skate 3 and in 2020, yet I'm super hyped and i played the entire franchise now, cant wait for this new skate

Glad to see they’ve spent this long just working on the core gameplay. You can see by the low textures that there focus for these past years have really been on the core experience

I was really hyped about a new Skate game until I saw this. Wow. It honestly looks like such a deviation from what fans of the series actually wanted that it's kind of impressive.

Seeing the wackiness I remember from previous skate games just takes me back to a simpler time. The vibes. The power. The laughs. The badass lines you could pull off. And the MUSIC! All jumbled together in one big pot to make an immortal experience. (Also speaking of music I hope the songs they show in these highlights show up in the ost because you bet your ass I’m gonna listen to that for hours- P.S. to the fine folks running this channel: is it possible for you guys to put the songs you use for these vids in the description? Understandable if you can’t haha) to everyone who’s churning all their heart and soul into this game I wish you the best of luck guys and rock on!
