I’m not a Disney adult, BUT if my kids wanted me to wear Disney ears to match with them, I absolutely would wear those silly things.

Sunkissed was more upset about losing the ears at Disney than she was about losing her kid in there 😂

So, fun story. The "evil" stepsisters were HILARIOUS the last time I went to Disney (2019). Honestly, the best part of the trip. I pointed them out to my son and said, "Look, it's the evil step sisters!". One of them got RIGHT UP IN MY FACE and loudly said, "We're not evil. We're misunderstood." I thought I was going to die from laughing.

i’ll never forget the disney adults who stood behind my toddler and I and complained about the volume of children at disney in florida, and the fact that children were in front of them in line. i couldn’t deal with it.

To me it's odd to go to Disney with no children when they are mothers.

I could never go to Disney without my kids. So strange to me to not take the reason it’s magical with you. Some of my greatest memories are of my son and daughter who are adults now going to Disney back when we had nothing… I was dating my husband after a nasty divorce and my kids had never been anywhere. He took us and spoiled my kids for three days straight! He bought them jackets , candy , ears , toys everything they wanted that day. It was truly magical , my son never stopped smiling.

There are Disney adults like my hubby and myself who aren’t character obsessed or creepy. We enjoy the rides because I can’t do the big thrill coasters like at most theme parks, and we enjoy the nice restaurants. We got engaged at magic kingdom and I surprised my husband there years later on our anniversary that we were pregnant with our first baby. Disney gave us free VIP seating for fireworks as a way to say congrats. I do hate how expensive Disney is. It makes it so difficult for most families to go. But there is nothing wrong with adults enjoying the Walt Disney Resort for special occasions and nostalgia. However, we don’t care about character meet and greets or character dining unless we have kids with us. Epcot is mostly for adults. And yes, I wear the damn ears. 😂 No, I do not wear turtlenecks or Fanny packs, lol! The parks have been my escape since my mom’s unexpected passing.

I'm definitely a Disney adult! Raised in socal and going to college around Disney - everyone just goes to "hangout" and go on a ride or two. I am still shamelessly dressing up and wearing Disney merch all over. This video made me LAUGH because yes... we def look CRAZY 😹

Hi Josh, thanks for the podcast and everything you do to bring awareness to child exploitation on RU-vid. Just to clarify on the “Disney California” confusion, in the Disney Anaheim, California location there are two parks with entrances facing each other, on one side is Disneyland and the other is California Adventure (basically Pixar-themed rides like Cars, Toy Story, etc. and now the Avengers campus). For this location you can get a park hopper pass (which I think Jess and Sunkissed got) so they can go back and forth between the parks basically however much they want in the time frame (after 1 P.M.). Sunkissed fill-in-the-blank was just mistakenly calling it Disney California lol. Hope this helps!

Some perspective from someone who was born and raised in socal. When you live near disneyland, a lot of people get year passes, and it kind of becomes like going to an extravagant mall 💀 Usually when you're bored you go to a mall or something, but they go to disney. When its the afternoon and you're bored, you get some money for at least a coffee, walk around with friends, go on a ride or two. See the lights. My family had no money, but for my 15th birthday my friends all put their money together and got me a pass so I could go with them. I hadn't been since I was 4, and it was so much fun. I am an adult and I still have so much fun going if I can afford it. Its just considered a fun day out doing something different. Crying over not being able to get a picture with a cast member though is super weird 😐

i HATE Disney and refuse to stand in lines in the heat ( i also hate florida yes i was a goth kid) but when i had babies their aunt offered to take them and i said YES PLEASE!! the kids had a great time! and i didnt have to pretend i was having fun! i loved being with my little ones just not at disney!

The crew neck/turtleneck combo with the tennis skirt is seriously a thing. I’m not even sticking up for them, but tons of women wear it specifically for Disney 😅

I wasn't even this immature and obnoxious when I was a little girl!! I would never be able to stand being around them. My dad married my step mum in florida and they went to Disney while they were out there. I wasn't allowed to travel from the UK to the wedding as my mum refused but I remember him phoning me telling me he was in Disney and as a 8 year old I was heartbroken. I have still never been and I still resent him.

I used to think it was weird to go to Disney without kids. But. It's actually fun for a day date. We can just relax and do what we want without the kids and drama of kids being tired. Kids being hungry. Multiple bathroom breaks. It's more relaxing.

We were on a Disney cruise a few weeks ago and I can confirm Disney adults have ruined the fun for the kids. They wouldn’t let any kids stand in front of them for any of the shows because they were all filming for their social media. Can’t kids have anything?!

There's Disneyland, and right next to it is Disney California Adventure Park. They're in Anaheim, California. You can buy park hopper tickets and go from park to park, which is what they did. My husband worked there, so we had tons of free tickets and went a lot with my kids this past year. It is so expensive though!!! It's absolutely outrageous, but the parks are beautiful!

The best setup I've ever seen for photos with sanata was at Santa's Wonderland in College Station TX. (Overpriced though, don't recommend it) They had it set up to where there's 3 or 4 rooms, all having someone stationed outside and they direct you to your room thats set up with a photographer and it's own Santa. This way, they were able to do multiple photos at once without ruining the illusion of Santa by making sure kids don't see the other santas.

There is Disneyland and then next to it is Disney's California Adventure which I believe has some stuff themed to a lot of the Pixar movies.... but I've never been so I don't actually know. Disneyland in Anaheim arr basically two different parks. Right next door to each other. There is the _'regular' Disneyland Park and then California Adventure Park. The later being more "ride heavy". I don't know how it is currently but it used to be that you'd basically get a two day hopper ticket. I'm sure they have season passes but last I remember that's how it worked.

I agree with the hot Christmas being less magical. I live in New Zealand so every year Christmas is incredibly hot and humid. I am so jealous of people on the other side of the world being able to cosy up on the couch in sweaters and blankets with a hot chocolate and watch Christmas movies. Instead we are all sticky and gross, sitting as far apart as we can with ice water. It's just not Christmasy! NZ even sells Christmas sweaters and winter pjs and it's like, why?? We can't even wear them 😭

Disney California adventure is a separate park from Disneyland sort of like how we have Disney world in Florida but separately there is Magic kingdom, Hollywood studios, Epcot, and animal kingdom. There is also universal studios but it’s separate from Disney lol
