Jerry Tillery's unsportsmanlike conduct penalty cost the Las Vegas Raiders dearly against the Los Angeles Rams last Thursday. But if not for Tillery, the Raiders might not have gone on a three game winning streak or even been in that Thursday night game.

The only thing is that everyone smacks the ball out of other players hands. I’ve never seen that called until Thursday and to compound that they stopped calling holding penalties on the offense.

Excellent breakdown of Tillery strengths and weaknesses. Too bad we didn't get him earlier in the season. No question Maxx Crosby is the best dlineman on the team. But one can argue tillery is having a bigger impact on the dline. Even Jones playing better with tillery than without him.

Tillery is able to be that effective because Crosby is on the line with him. Schemes are designed to stop Crosby so everyone else is then able to go at 1v1 matchups or exploit weaknesses

@@5lim.0 Crosby has been there all season long. Still doing great. Case for dpoy. But tillery changed the dline where Crosby did not. All you have to see is chandler Jones and #91. BOTH did close to nothing in the season. Tillery comes in and now Jones and 91# can't rmbr his name of top of my head; have drastically improved. It's night and day.

I 100% agree but I was saying early in the season why not use the 9 mil in cap space we had to get Suh. I believe that could have altered the season after seeing the impact of Tillery!

Agree with what you said about him. I hope he's learned, and finds Vegas his home, he does have talent. 1:10 - Raiders were not going to take Jalen Carter. Not after that car fiasco where someone was killed. Not in Las Vegas, not with the tragedy of Ruggs still fresh in memory.

You really think discipline is it or just officiating the raiders been the most penalized team for like 20 years. I don’t think our 70s teams was penalized this much and they literally played dirty as shit back then.

That was one game. This guy is a game changer. Plus Amik PI on a turnover, Hobbs giving up 45 yard pass, Derek with turnover in red zone, Crosby being held 5 plays in last 2 drives, McDaniel running Jacobs from fullback position on 3rd and 1, Graham not having 3 deep on game winning td leaving rookie 1 on 1 deep. Even if we had won by far our worse game this year.

First of all - he cannot stop the run at all. He consistently gets pushed 10 yards off the line of Scrimmage. All he can do is rush the passer.

I don’t think he has had that great an impact besides the charger game, he was dominant in that game and I figured he would be fired up for that one for obvious reasons, I haven’t noticed him in any other game, I’m thankful for him because he gives us depth though

@@mikesauce717 I watch every raider game bro, I do think our ends would be better if we had more consistent rush but I still say he has only played one noticeable game and that was against his former team and that’s to be expected, I wanted to see a repeat performance and I saw some laziness on some plays in the rams game and we all know about the penalty play as well, he is okay but I definitely hope we don’t think he is the next interior presence for the raiders in the future bro, good back up piece, got pushed around in the run game all game last week, and didn’t move the pocket in the pass game either 🤷‍♂️

Carl that was a dumb flag but the refs are always trigger happy when it’s the 4th quarter and the game is on the line for us. Especially when we are playing Defense. I hope all the new old and McDaniels guys all looked at that rams game and figured it out that we don’t get the calls from the refs. You have to play disciplined smart football.
