i dont know how many times i watch this video. i was a great fan of safari from the school days.. never thought i could own one. my cousin had one 3 litre dicor. i used to roam around with it . sometimes with my father. i asked my father " when are we buying one of this ??!! " he told me he is just a govt employ. couldn't dream for taking it. kept the dream along with my heart. worked very hard. but when i bought a 3 l dicor. he wasn't there anymore to see . gone to his tomb and said " papa .. i bought it.. " . the safari is still with me for my family long drives , our trips to my new farm and also had a great memories . yes.. for me it's an emotion. tata safari ..

I am a Proud Owner of TATA Safari Petrol Version Full Option VXi 4x4 since 2004 and the only Petrol Safari in Kerala. So tough, heavy (unladen wt. 2250 kgs.) and a secured SUV smooth sailing on highways. My dream come true.
The design of Tata Indica was great..At that time the hatchbacks in India were 800 and zen which were smaller as compared to Indica..But the thing that backfired was quality control which Tata failed miserably.There were serious engine overheating issues in most Indicas and that led to the downfall of Indica and future models based on that didn't worked as well..Only after the arrival of fiat multijet in Vista Tata garnered some momentum in hatchbacks..

VX മോഡൽ തന്നെ നോക്കി എടുക്കുക. GX ആയാലും മതി പക്ഷേ GX വളരെ കുറച്ചേ ഉള്ളൂ. ഈ വണ്ടിയിൽ കയറിയിട്ട് പോലും ഇല്ലത്തവർ വരെ അഭിപ്രായം പറയും, തലക്ക് സുഖം ഇല്ല എന്ന് വരെ കമൻ്റ് വരും തളരരുത് (നാട്ടുകാരും വീട്ടുകാരും പറയും). ഈ കമൻ്റ് ഒക്കെ കേട്ട ലേ ഞാൻ :)

2006 to 2013 safari 3L dicor use cheythu, 145000kms odichu. Pinne storme from 2013 to 2017, athum oru 50000kms odichu...storme was a better handler but 3L dicor was undoubtedly the comfy cruiser...love the safaris...
Safari Dicore 2.2 VTT full option owner since 2010. The first sight of it when I was in college melted into my blood. Despite owning many cars abroad, never thought about another option when I wanted to buy a car in India; though there were so many reasons for the people around to discourage me! Watching this video only now…a quality video without any gimmicks or annoying bgms!

Man this is truly a tribute to the legendary vehicle. I would like to call it as a cult classic vehicle. When ever I hear the name safari , picture which comes to my mind is the chase between safari and gypsy in the cult classic movie “Big B”.

I was working in a Tata Motors dealership in 2004 and there was one limited edition petrol safari 4WD lying in the dealership for more than 2 years. That is to date the most comfortable vehicle i have driven till now. That vehicle was finally sold at a deep discount.
I still remember witnessing the safari second generation for the first time , I was in 1st standard then, exactly 11 yrs ago, till that day the sumo used to me my favorite , I saw this legend lying in front of my father's office(it was the dist collector's)it was my second love at first sight (1st sumo) 5 yr old me used to dream driving that car. Well I got a chance to go for a drive in that car, not chill drive though , it was day before before election and due to some reason I was there in the office with my father , ultra naughty me got hit on corner of a office wall and wounded my forehead (I still have that mark ) after a quick first aid , I got back home in this legend 😁😁😁🤟. My happiness at that moment still, is something out of this world
