You know that "8 inch tablet that never came out" is still listed for sale on your store and shows as in stock, right? You don't have any grounds to criticise them while you're still allowing people to order a non-existent device.

The aspect ratio is surprisingly nice for a two page layout. Kindle or Kobo should do a hinged two display folding reader, akin to the Surface Duo.

It's plain LCD with low blue light and a matte finish. No mention of flicker. Since they used the same exact name as their transflective technology variant, it's confusing and misleading.

No, TCL is a very large international electronics company that has been around for four decades. It's not a scam at all. This isn't a unknown device manufacturer or product. It is a legitimate release

If it even would be possible, you wouldn’t see anything if turning it off. Because it isn’t a reflective e-paper display (or “reflective LCD”), it’s just-as told in the review-an ordinary LCD display like any other pad. The NxtPaper pad doesn’t have an actual NxtPaper technology display, it has a common LCD display that they market as if it is “paper like”. Really, one can argue that it’s a scam.
