The Cairngorms - back to back marathons on the Lairig Ghru. 

A superb few days away with John Smith.
We parked at the Linn of Dee carpark near Braemar then followed the route up to Derry Lodge then onto the Lairig Ghru. A slight deviation up Devil's Point (the weather was too good not to) then across the boulder field (not too bad) and down some lovely trails to Coylum Bridge and then along into Aviemore.
Nice stay over in an apartment then it was back on the trails the next morning.
This time following the road along to Loch Morlich before cutting up by Glenmore Lodge and onto the lesser known Lairig An Laoigh. Passing the Ford's of Avon Refuge we dropped back down to Derry Lodge where we picked up the path back to the car park.
Worked out 42k each way, so back to back marathons 👍
