My chemistry teacher was arrested and put in jail for having a relationship and sending inappropriate pictures to a student. Her son is in my grade, and he's still in school, so it must feel strange for him. Literally the day after he arrest was announced kids in my IED class were showing each other the pictures she sent.

Speaking as a male survivor of sexual assaults, (plural) I couldn't finish watching the video. This is horrific. My assaults have haunted me for decades even though I was an adult at the time. I can't imagine what those kids are going to go through in later life. These stories are just sick. So are the people who refuse to condemn it.

I was in the sixth grade when our female gym coach was arrested for kidnapping and molesting two of my male classmates (one eleven, the other thirteen and in special needs) just the day before. I recall a lot of my classmates, especially the girls, claiming the coach was framed because she was married and had three kids of her own. I remember thinking even back then, sarcastically, mind you, "Yeah, married people and parents never do anything that messed up, like, ever." The coach lost her job, but the story never made the news and it was years before she went to jail on unrelated drug charges. I'm pretty sure the cover up had to do with her father being on the school board.

I remember an AskReddit thread asking men who were sexually abused by women to share their stories. Most of the responses were about either teachers or babysitters. None if those stories were particularly sexy, and those guys didn't exactly feel lucky.

A girl I went to high school with molested a 5 year old and admitted it when she was 19. Ended up not doing any time, lives near a park, has custody of her own kids, and goes to the public swimming pool often. Thank you for addressing this issue. People really do not understand adult woman on male child abuse, and really paint such a double standard on this. I myself am a male survivor of childhood sexual assault, and my abuser was my own mother. Trolls on the internet have asked me many times "was she hot" despite knowing she was my mother. That's the internet for us, right? Anyway, the way I always try to paint people a picture of how this was able to happen without anyone knowing is to describe her as thus: She was a devout Catholic, a school teacher by day, a disability rights activist, active in the church to include teaching Sunday school, and she was know for baking a cake for anyone and everyone. Her main hobby was raising butterflies. When you look at who she was(she's passed), NO ONE wants to believe such a person would harm a child. Even when I first disclosed at a rape crisis center, which is the one place you have a reasonable expectation of being believed, I was not believed at first.

Around 5 years ago, I and a few of my co workers went to a Halloween party. One of those co workers was a hot Jamaican woman. It's actually really interesting - I've been watching videos about body language in interrogation rooms, and the pedophiles whenever they are caught always act childlike, staying really small and quiet and innocent - it's ironic, because these are the same people that take advantage of children who are smaller, quieter, and more innocent, and they act like they will be treated with mercy by police when they act that way even though they did not to the children they harmed. As a MAN who was abused as a child I can confirm we don’t like being sexually assaulted just as much as women but it’s just worse because it emasculates you and you feel like your not a man because of them taking it from you.

We had a female TA who got caught making out with a senior who was not 18 yet. She was suspended and came back. Before that she had been suspended for how she dressed as teachers had a dress code. She was maybe 26. We had a male teacher who was accused of engaging in non-consensual sex with an underage girl. In a court of law he was found innocent. She flat out said that she "accused him because she wanted the attention". Not only was he not given his job back, he was blacklisted from teaching. That TA, by the way, still works there as a teacher. I know because my nephew went to the same school around twelve years later and was his math teacher. Fuck society.

Being a dad at 14 is even more fun when you have to give her money for child support.

It is interesting because I know how much as a teenage boy I hoped that I would "win the jackpot" and be able to sleep with, specifically my High School math teacher was the one that I was the most thirsty over. Now as an adult, you realize the difference between being young with a fantasy versus what happens in real life. A lot of "fantasy" situations, if occurred in real life, could and would be really bad. When it comes to that age line, as much as I might have been excited if it happened at the time, there is no tell the possible impact that it could have had on me. I also think that it is a really good point in stating that it is this general narrative that makes it more difficult for boys and men to come forward because you're supposed to enjoy it, consider yourself lucky, blah blah blah.

I think what people don't understand is that children sometimes want things that are not good for them. Being a 13 or 14 year old boy who is attracted to an adult woman is normal but that woman reciprocating and allowing a relationship to happen is harmful to the child. You can't have consent without adult is something every adult should just know.
