I’ve gotten to the point with these ranger videos that I’m sad when the video ends, I wish they were a hour long lol. That truck is going to be amazing when you’re done.

I wish I had the time to produce an hour long video, it’s already daunting as is trying to balance doing actual work and paying attention to filming/editing as I go along.

Not only do you have a monumental task of getting this Ranger showroom ready, the additional time you must take to adjust the camera and edit and edit and edit is unreal. Great Job and entertaining :)

Damn… that’s amazing how little surface rust is on the underside of that cab for a 28-year old New Hampshire vehicle! I’m always impressed by what it must take to remember how to reassemble so many different items days after disassembly. As usual, attention to detail is off the charts. Great video. 👍👍👍 Finally, Happy Birthday this coming Tuesday, Sarah! 🎂🍰 🐧

The paper mask was better than nothing. Respirators are not only great for fumes, but also solid particles! Sanding dust, rust busting, grinding...glad to see a channel using PPE. You influence a lot of people
@anydaynow01
@anydaynow01 2 года назад
They have some decent full face respirators on Amazon that work really well, I haven't touched my half face respirator / goggles in forever I just use the full face and it is great! Also if you use the full face, be sure to put your hand between your hair and the straps when tightening them, or you will have a bad time, don't ask how I know.

Awesomeness 😊 I live in Ontario Canada and since I have to replace my subframes ( Mazda 😢 need I say more ) I have to buy new ones . I am torn between nickle plating or something else . YES ! I have priced out cold plating and I am definitely getting the hardware done and the parking brake components but found I can get things bundled at a lower cost. Still gonna be mad expensive but we have too much salt especially now with the crazy weather we are having . And hey I am single and no kids to support. Thank you for sharing Angel hugs and blessings to you and yours.

Hey Sarah, I replaced the cab isolator bushings on my '85 Ranger by myself. It can be done but my truck is from northern Kentucky and the hardware wasn't as rusted as yours. You are going to need to remove the old bushing retainers from the old frame. The retainer is in two pieces (upper & lower). You're going to need to either beat them apart or make a retainer separator tool. There are videos on YT that will show you what you need (but I bet Charlie can help if you didn't figure it out already). You can get new ones, if you decide the old ones are shot. It can be a crappy job but having the cab off the old frame makes it much easier. And (early) Happy Birthday!
