Oh man, I am still disgusted how they did everything in their power to keep Ezra Miller despite his "questionable" past actions and criminal offenses, but were quick to get rid of Henry Cavil despite Cavil being a good guy that has a clean record. Edit (as of July 25): Geez, a month later and I'm still getting replies lol
The dumbest part in this movie is that the flash's mom was murdered and yet he didn't go back in time to find out who killed his mom to prevent it. Instead, he goes back in time to put the can of tomato's in his mom's grocery cart, so that his dad wouldn't have to run out and get the can of tomato's that his mom forgot. As if he didn't care who killed his mom, that caused his life to be in a wreck for many years after. I'm sorry, but that's just flat out laziness on the writer's part.
Lmao, you're right. What kind of "superhero" does that? Killer? Meh. Let dada take care of him. It's still possible his mom dies, but now, maybe his dad too. It's also so ridiculous they left this question unaswered.
I said the same thing to a friend of mine. Maybe Barry believes it was a random thing and not targeted murder? I don’t know. But still it seems the logical course of action would be to travel to the house to prevent it, not to a grocery store for tomatoes.
I just don't understand why people in the movie industry try so hard to platform someone with the flashiest criminal record history like Ezra and push people like Henry Cavill away, an actual genuinely good actor with a passion for his projects, from the industry. It sucks so much.
For anyone wondering how anyone in this day and age could survive everything in times when you will get canceled over a few words, look into his origins and your answer will be there. No actor could survive not even a fraction of what he did and everyone knows that. Look at all the actors canceled over mere tweets. Ask yourself how he could not only survive but thrive in Hollywood after multiple assaults on females?
@@jmgonzales7701 CGI in moderation is okay, but overuse of CGI by both Marvel and DC makes me really infuriated. Instead of adding more immersion, CGI makes everything look too colourful and stupid.
I still remember how awesome was the scene in Snyder Cut where he reversed the time and saved everyone after motherboxes exploded. What they did here with the babies was absolute travesty.
Meanwhile, Henry Cavill, who would in any other time in Hollywood be praised as a role model and a modern Gary Cooper, gets kicked out because he isn't a disgusting deviant How low has Hollywood fallen
That is part of the problem. Cavill is handsome and masculine while also being soft spoken and gentlemanly. He loves nerdy shit and takes his IPs with gravitas. Hollywood hasn't "fallen" by the way. It was formed by degenerate thieves who stole Thomas Edisons camera patent and fled to the West Coast. They were always subversives the difference is America had a homogenous Christian populace

It's about to fade away. Diverse-wash is over. Corporations got bored giving special treatment to "diverse," people. Because they are losing shit ton of money.
@@fortnight5677 It's because they're doing it in a shitty, artificial way. First of all, they have no idea what they want "diversity" to mean and because of that instead of casting people of various ethnicities or sexualities or whatever randomly and naturally into roles they fit into, they cast someone who's, let's say, gay and then keep bringing it up constantly when it's not relevant to the character. They are treating minorities as tools and props instead of treating them like real people with thoughts and feelings. The other thing they do is cast women or minorities in movies they know are totally shit so that when someone says that the movie is totally shit the producers accuse them of sexism or racism instead of admitting the film sucks, while at the same time not giving a rat's arse about the abuse they are causing the cast to experience. That actress who played the live action Little Mermaid probably thought it was gonna be good for her career and she probably tried really hard to do a good job and make everyone happy, not knowing that the movie was always going to be a money sucking piece of shit and she would be thrown to the lions and then discarded by the studio.
I think what bothers me most about a lot of these super hero movies is that they act so emotional and immature, change their minds easily, act arrogantly or self-centered, and should never be allowed to carry the dangerous superpowers they have. Also, the actor’s background is really dark. Why did they hire that guy?
They protected and supported Ezra Miller, amber heard is still there, they showcased multiple versions of Batman , Superman and the flash but hated using Cavill as Superman for a final cameo and not having a Grant Gustin flash cameo even though he was the flash on tv for almost a decade 😂 the disrespect is real towards the fans
My dude, ever since Ezra's incident in Hawaii, the news has been going around that he's fired from his role as Flash. They didn't defend him. They let him go. The reason he's still in Flash is because the movie was already well into production and they have a contract with him for that movie. They couldn't just throw him out unless they wanted to lose in court.

Well when you actually do *authentic* research, they’re not that bad. They’re just people fed up with a certain race and want nothing to do with them they don’t cause any harm unless people encroach on their area and even then, they warn first.
I mean, Henry is 40 now. How much longer could he continue playing Supe? Maybe gotten 1 or 2 more movies out of him but that's it. Christopher Reeve was 35 when he quit playing Supe, as he said then that he was too old to play Supe
Ezra Miller is a lunatic who would’ve been committed to an asylum at any other point in history, but gets to be a millionaire at this point in history.
Hopefully the director grew a brain and realized he's the worst flash ever and they remade man of steel but with the flash to put me asleep once again like the first man of steel did
The director lacks imagination. If he had that, he too would've backed out of the project. Perhaps it's just the deviants supporting eachother, while throwing real fans under the bus. The movie should've been aborted permanently.
The fact that Keaton's Batman almost took down a Kryptonian is a feat on its own. And it would have made more sense to fight for humanity, if Kara was told of her cousin's fate sooner. I wanted this film to be okay, but hopefully this is the last stinker from DC, though I doubt it.
I’m just sitting here wondering how James Gunn, a man who cares the utmost respect for the quality of his movies, said this garbage fire was one of the best superhero movies he’s ever seen.
Just the fact that Avatar and Pirates of the Caribbean are over a decade year old yet in CURRENT year, this shit still exist is baffling to me. How can we keep evolving backwards? 💀
They have Ezra Miller be a lunatic in the movie itself. There's a scene where they are in the room and older Ezra wants to punch younger Ezra. He's trying so hard to control his criminal tendencies.
Hot take: the scenes between the two Barry’s were actually good. Him yelling at himself for disregarding a gift from their mother did stir emotions in me. Well acted and written, even if the general plot isn’t
What does it do to a child to play a character like that I wonder? We worry about certain roles being dangerous for adult actors, what about the damn kids?
There were only 3 children in his basement. Their mother has posted over and over that all Ezra did was give her and the kids a safe place to go away from her abusive husband, whom she said hit her in front of the children and was "too quick with the belt". If you don't know what you are talking about you should not post.
@@Lung-Stealer No I am right because of the reasons posted in my last post. You, of course, refuse to acknowledge facts. No one was ever "locked up" in his basement. I usually hate all youtube reviewers, but this guy is fire. It sounds like an episode of Red Dwarf where deadpan Lister launches into a destructive monologue for 30 mins
The movie should've starred Grant Gustin instead. I know hes been playing the flash for years so he may not have wanted to take the casting, but just imagine how much better Grant would've been than Ezra. Besides, Grant is actually a good person. Hes not some criminal cultist who grooms children and attacks innocents.
Bro it makes no sense theres already a tv show with grant gustin what are they gonna do sum up the entire tv show and make it into a 2 hour long movie?
I cant thank you enough for this review. It raised a red flag when it became clear this movie was not going to be released in 3D. My gut instinct told me then dont bother and now it is etched in granite that I wont. I walked out of last years Batman movie after thirty minutes and dont look back in regret.
Dude... GRANT GUSTIN is RIGHT. THERE. He's BEEN THE FLASH. Literally the only thing that can hold him back is writing, because he is the main muscle after the show went to sh!t post season 4.
The fact that they wasted and used Barry Allen's most important story aka Flashpoint (for the second time) in his FIRST live action movie starring an alleged groomer and criminal tells you everything you need to know about how little WB cares. Since the movie is turning out to be a flop that means the brand of Flash will be permanently damaged forever, but at least i hope in future they're gonna use a new actor to finally play ginger Wally West in the DCU in order to refresh the franchise, what a mess man....
I sure hope they use better CGI to show super speed. The Xmen movies did it so much better. Like in the Quicksilver scene where everything appears to stand still.
You are sure good with that word "alleged". No one should be condemned over something that is ALLEGED, especially when the "victim" has put up 3 videos and several magazine interviews saying he did no such thing!!

Damn, didn't know all the trivia about Ezra. I already felt that the tv show actor was way better than the weird clownesque movie one, but now I really cannot comprehend why they have kept him this long... contractual obligation?
The Talmud says that if a tribe member is in court, the court rules in favor of the tribe member against gentiles. The Tribedicial system is corrupt and easily controlled.
There is another cut where Kara screams "NO!" at Zod. Zod looks up. You would think there would be a fight, but then it cuts again and she's back at the mansion. I think in the original version that was the start of the fight but it got re-worked in the final result.
Utterly amazing that WB went ahead with a movie starring 3 Ezra Millers, of all things, but cancelled a Batgirl film they'd mostly finished and ditched Henry Cavill despite him being both popular and uncontroversial. They claimed they stuck with the Flash because it was going to be great. So I don't know what's worse - WB not realising how trash the film was, or WB thinking that it was worth glossing over Ezra's crimes for.
This movie was a literal whiplash, literally the only reason why I was dragged to go see it was because my Ma wanted to see Micheal Keaton as Batman. We got to the scene with the baby in the microwave and she was downright disgusted. I’m glad the people in the theater talked over because nothing even really happened, and even with something that was supposed to be “Tragic” was just the audience laughing at how stupid it was. Bad enough we had to deal with two of the same god awful actor, and it shows that Hollywood doesn’t care and would let a pedophile and kidnapper be the face of their later DC project, talk about sick. Can’t wait for you do to the review for the latest Indiana Jones “film”, talk about the year of killing IP’s and Dreams. I give the film a 3.5/10, seems fair.
Yeah, that scene with the babies was disturbing. Especially when you know the secret history of Hollywood and the rumors of pedophilia and child sacrifices. There was no reason to put a baby in a microwave or show scalpels almost stabbing them. The Xmen movies did a better job at showing someone who has super speed. That first Quicksilver scene was amazing.
3.5/10? Idk if you meant /100 instead of /10 but that don't look right. 3.5 is still not really bad is it? This movie is absolutely god awful, atrocious, abominable.
Great review Reaper. Thank you for listing all of Ezra Miller's heinous crimes and misconducts and not sugarcoating any of it. As much as I love Michael Keaton's Batman, I'll never watch this movie because of that insane predator.
Learn to separate art from the artist. Don't be juvenile. I saw it and enjoyed it even with Ezra Miller's controversy in the back of my mind. I wasn't watching Ezra Miller's biopic, I was watching Barry Allen as The Flash.
@@handsomeDRAC so you're okay with supporting a man who choked out a pregnant woman? This isn't like Wesley Snipes and tax evasion, were he actually did go to jail for several years, Ezra's done far worse and got nothing but a slap on the wrist. @kaijuking3216 Did you not understand what I clearly stated? What I'm saying is a movie should be separate from any controversies in real life. Don't trash a movie because of one person's mental insanity, it's not fair to everyone else who worked hard on the film to make the best it possibly could given how much trouble the production went through over the past 3 to 7 years
The director’s excuse on how bad the CGI is him really saying: “Hey, I didn’t edit this.” Ezra Miller is kinda like Homelander from The Boys. A figure that is recognised as a hero, but off camera their a c*nt.
Ayo don't disrespect animation okay, they can do things live action can only dream of doing at a much smaller budget, so just because its animated doesn't make it less mature or inferior, plus comparing that to this is just an insult
I had to wonder if the tooth falling out was an inside nod to the crumbling state of the DCU at the time, like they knew this thing was falling apart and tried to acknowledge it with a bit of good humour.
I do feel bad for CG artists at this point. You could just sense that most of them are so overworked at this point they barely have any soul left. I bet only the young interns have some fire in their bellies while all the rest just want to finish their scene and go home to their family. I can't imagine it being much fun in these CG companies when Hollywood keeps demanding more and more of them.
what i find baffling is that this movie was pushed back so far, had so much time to polish the cgi, and the film was pretty much done with filming back in early 2022 yet it looks that bad. are they just leaving out the cgi crew until the last 2 months or something, jesus
@@CRAZYMUGMAN tbh I wouldn't be surprised if due to reshoots the CG artists had to keep scraping a lot of their complete work and only had the time to do what we got. I'm fairly certain the cameos were all last minute jobs. Who knows much good CG work is just rotting on a hard drive somewhere.
@@jennyclark6183 there's video of Ezra choking a pregnant woman and another video of him throwing a chair at another woman. so no, these accusations are not false
I completely disagree with the Reaper.. I think The Flash was pretty OK, compared to other current superhero movies.. that said I agree that Miller's version of Flash is VERY annoying at times, but I think there are few moments in the film where he did good, especially when he wasn't mumbling or trying to make a joke.. Also, I think Man Of Steel was REALLY good, and compared to previous cheesy adaptations, a more grounded and "realistic" Superman was a welcome change.. I also didn't mind Aquaman, not so much about its overall story, but cinematography.. I think DC screwed up when they decided to rush mashing heroes into same movies, such as Batman V Superman and Justice League.. they should've concentrated on individual heroes, making every single one relatable, and only then start putting them together.. for whatever reason they decided to skip on standalone Batman, Flash and Cyborg movies, instead putting our crap like Suicide Squad and Birds Of Prey.. seems DC execs have no idea what makes superhero movies good.. And as far as The Flash, I think all the hate is overblown, as there are MUCH worse hero movies out there, even from Marvel..
Honestly I hope this is the last film for Ezra Miller before he goes to jail, and let's be real, I doubt anyone will listen, they slap a ball of feces to a dart board to see what movie can they shit on next
