I always get the biggest smile on my face when Reaper doesn’t have any background music… cuts straight to the bullshit… and starts swearing while being critical 😂
this is a sword thousands of years old, can withstand anything, killed countless Jedi and Sith, used by Mandos and Sith, yet Gideon crushes this thing? This was a one-of-a-kind saber that was unique among all of them.
@@ArgentWolf95 I wish Jack Bauer could've followed bo katar to make sure she was actually stone cold dead. Jack never leaves a job half done before putting on the Mandal helmet.
Reasons why the final season is bad: 1. Season 3 resets everything that happened in Season 2 (from Gideon being freed to Grogu coming back) 2. The Double Standard where the female blacksmithing Mando looks down on Din and wants him to go take a bath in special waters for taking off his helmet; she doesn't even thank him for saving the other Mandos from the giant croc monster, but Bo-Katan gets a pass and gets to walk between both worlds. 3. The stormtroopers wearing the best armor in the show but still get easily beaten by everyone that it doesn't matter. 4. Grogu flip flopping from being an intelligent creature to a confused baby. 5. The Lizzo episode is terrible. Not just because Lizzo can't act, but the idea that the people are so stupid and lazy that they must rely on robots to feed them is not a paradise, but a society that is a mere step away from collapsing. 6. Bo Katan leading the Mandos when she failed as a leader twice and realistically, no one would be taking her seriously. She only gets a pass because she saw the underwater monster. Din would have seen it too, but the writers suddenly made him unconscious so Bo gets to be the special one.
The Lizzo episode is actually the best one, in my opinion, but not intentionally. It's made out to seem like everything is hunky dory besides this one guy sabotaging everything, but in reality its exactly as you said, people are so reliant on automation they're one step from collapsing. It inadvertently is self-critical while trying to be self congratulatory. Last two episodes are shit though and I wish pedro pascal wasnt such a piece of shit and difficult to work with, besides that he's a good actor.
Reason #7: Bozo-Katan gets treated like a savior when it was because of HER that Mandalore was destroyed (er.... mildly inconvenienced.....) by the Empire You don't bounce back from gaslighting the destruction of your people simply because you waved a light stick around after swimming in some monsters toilet water
@@jeremyallen5974 also, totally ignoring the fact that she is a super grey character who is supposed to be portrayed in that light, but is also capable of extreme evils(genociding an entire village just for the fun of it)
It's even more insulting, when you realize that Gideon's grip has a power to destroy the Darksaber with hilt made of pure beskar, but he doesn't break Bo-Katan's arm or choke Din to death easily when he had a chance.
Even the fact that Beskar at its purest is the most strongest in the star wars universe which like previous episode that Reaper covered it won't make sense for the troopers or the Mandalorians to fall over and die from gun fire it would just be them having blasts bounce off of their armor and would just be a pointless battle of them just falling over on the floor from the pushback of the blasts but would still get up and maybe just maybe get some slight injuries from getting pushed back but other than that they're just okay
If his hand is stronger than pure beskar and pure beskar can deflect lightsabers could that mean his naked hand with no armor could slap away a lightsaber using logic?
The accepting mediocrity part was unfortunately so true. The prequels were like when a straight A kid gets a B in a test and the parents are extremely disappointed. While this new Disney stuff is like a straight F student which the parents eventually just start falling in the illusion that it's actually the teacher's fault and stuff because they don't want to accept their kid is actually just bad at school.
No one mentions that Gideon can contact people from the Mandalore base, even though its specifically said that its impossible to do so because of the storm in the atmosphere.
Perfectly summarized. My biggest complain is Grogu in general. He there only to make simple minded people laugh, he is sometimes a child and sometimes smart etc. Gideon didnt even mention him while they were in a scene together, which I find strange since he is one of the few force wielders out there, and was "hopefully" crucial to make Gideons clones, RIP. Glad you mentioned Pedro, the first season to not show his face and it showed. No emotional reason to, what a load of shit
I stopped watching the season early on but it’s funny how grogu understood perfectly when mando told him to “get bo katan” when he was captured by the monster but then other times he’s an infant with no understanding of anything.
If I remember rightly they were having problems with Pedro Pascal in like... Season 1, complaining about nobody being able to see his face under the suit. Must have had another hissy fit about it, so they basically wrote him out of the show.
Considering he could happily ruin the Joel character whilst getting paid for this just shows he’s a woke grifter. No idea what’s so great about him tbh, is it because he isn’t white? Because his acting doesn’t exactly have range and he looks like ya friends dad… Honestly, no idea how he blew up from some C lister if it wasn’t his ethnicity, which again isn’t a qualification is it lol…
Wait a minute. One guy with a bucket on his head can maneuver a huge spaceship in a dogfight while firing all it's weapons sitting down ???? Someone needs to tell Steven Seagal about this !
It’s almost like my brain can hear BS. As soon as she said his name was “Din Grogu” I started paying attention and had a good belly laugh at the fact we’ve been hearing people say one characters name said backwards… Like it’s bad on purpose, guess that’s what happens when turn in the rough draft….. not even that it’s a goofy brainstorm of a show.
by this Logic. Boba Fett should be Jango Boba. I don't know any Mando clans in the actual 20 years of lore this show mostly ruins that name themselves like this.
@@zbroja02 to my knowledge Mandos supposedly all have last name be the clan name, and first name the individual. The middle one, father or mentor. So naming this way, makes no sense. Even in Disney canon. Kryze is Bo-Katan's clan ansd family name, for example.
Moff Gideon monologued for the sake of monologuing even though his plan already failed. Gus Fring monologued to distract Lalo Salamanca and position himself in a spot that will help him grab a pistol easily and kill off Lalo. They are not the same.
I've witnessed many people say that this show was great, yet the only reasoning they seem to have behind that opinion is the cameos and 'fight' scenes - if you can call them that. It just goes to show you that no matter how much Disney mauls the ST IP, there will always be fans who will watch and buy their stuff. I'm more and more of the belief that ST was over after the second Death Star was destroyed and the Sith fell. That was a perfect ending to ST to me since it brought us all the seasons/lore around Clone Wars and wrapping it all up in the original trilogy thereafter. Anything more - as shown with Disney - is just a blatant cash grab and any movie or series they or even other companies (if given the option) could produce is nowhere near as magical and fantastic as George Luca's films and vision. George Luca certainly wasn't the greatest screenwriter or director of all time; yet, he was the most passionate and prudent in terms of storytelling and detail. This is evidenced - among other things - by him explaining on an interview why he directed the OT with little explanation on how everything worked, instead assuming that everyone was already familiar with lightsabers, droids, the Empire, the Force, etc so as to create an immersive experience. That is something that few modern directors and writers understand, and it is something that captivates an audience. Show, don't tell.
That all black Armor worn by gedion makes him look so damn insecure. Like he was going.... Yeah, make it all black Yeah, put horns on it. That will scare then. The mechanical sounds the suit made when he moved exaggerated that effect. He became the standard MCU villain where he gets similar technology as the hero and then they have to fight. And how could they write dialogue so bad that even Giancarlo Esposito couldn't make it sound good. He is known for playing one of the best TV villains besides many other great roles! It had started already with she-hulk, but i am completely off the marvel and Disney train now. I only care about the second season of andor. Secret invasion looks like a andor style MCU show. But there's a greater chance of them ruining it than saving it. Oh yeah, andor season 2 and Deadpool 3. Those are the only two things.
I'm legit excited for Andor. It's hard to believe they could have a show that good, while the rest of them are so, so bad. Hopefully, Gunn didn't phone in Guardians 3 as Favreau phoned in Mando 3.
Don't be excited. Mando seasons 1 and 2 and Andor were only good because nobody at the top gave a fuck about them. Now that they're on the radar, you can see what happened to Mando, and it's only a matter of time before Andor suffers the same fate.
@@xSilentZeroXx Mando 1 and 2 were bad. Andor 2 will be the final season and they were filming it while 1 was premiering, so the studio had no chance to interfere.
Here’s what gets me: Before the Mandalorian, Gideon just had basic imperial resources when Bo Katan started her uprising on Mandalore. At the time I imagine she had a larger force to work with given all the clans on the planet but somehow it got so bad she had to resort to trying to give up the Darksaber to try to save her people. Then there’s the fight towards the end of season 1 where it was shown that Gideon’s men wiped out the convert leaving behind only the armor of what looked like a good number of Mandalorians and this was still with basic albeit more limited imperial resources. Now Gideon has stormtroopers with Beskar, a contingent of fighters, Praetorian guards, his own special armor, and the element of surprise while the Mandalorian forces consist of a mix of both kinds. On paper it doesn’t really all add up to me, maybe someone has a better idea?
I normal guy. Not too dumb, not too smart... I see this show and... How do people get jobs like writing for mandalorian? I dont wanna boast, but i could do this show better. Why can't i find half as good job as those hacks do? Where did i make a mistake..
Contacts and charisma I guess. Look at Amazon's Rings of Power. The series is utter shit yet their dick head showrunners got their bazillion dollar contract to produce their mess, and they were recommended by Jar Jar Abrahams!
I have a question and that is why are the clones still in the pods? Gus lets his red guards try to kill baby Yoda so that would mean he doesn’t need the baby anymore. Now it should also be mentioned that the clones of fully grown, which should mean they are done and ready. The clones in the clone wars were biologically done before they became a toddler.
from north manchester to an area in liverpool.... best regards sir, being able to make people laugh is a genuine skill and using loverly acerbic sarcasm is even better ... my thanks for the time and effort you give for freebies ... :-)
This season honestly should have been it's own thing... like "Rise of House Kryze" or something Din and Grogu felt like quest characters Also since they go back to bounty hunting and Grogu lost his droid mech he gained in this season... what was the point of this season again ? Well I quess Din lost his Dark Saber 😅
I remember when in the prequels and the original series, the Praetorians were just ceremonial guard, meant to look imposing but no better than a stormtrooper. I dunno why Disney tries to turn them into basically Jedi.
Season 1. "We need grogu to make force sensitive clones Season 3. "We don't need squat to make force sensitive clones we can just do it now, don't ask questions"
There is no logical reason why Gideon didn't immediately kill Din after he was cut off from the other mandalorians.None. Also I expect Gideon to be a clone or something and he isn't truly dead.
How do they fly around with jetpacks AND capes? Surely the capes and other loose clothing they wear would be set on fire as soon as they turn them on. Yet another thing Star Wars writers can't even take 2 seconds to think about or correct.
Brilliant!!! I love your comment. " The writers don't care, so why should I " ? That is how I feel as an American.... My Government doesn't care so why should I
Good thing I dropped at the end of season 2, it was a nice ending to his arc, no need for more stories with a guy that clearly doesn't want to be there anymore.
Didn't Admiral Fyyar from Jedi Outcast also have a plot involving soldiers in lightsaber-resistant armor? Man, the Kyle Katarn trilogy would've made for an amazing series...
Yes, shadowtroopers. Dark troopers were also from Kyle Katarn games. They just pick those things and rename them. Andor is basically butchered version of non-jedi Kyle. Kal Kestis is jedi Kyle from aliexpress. Jyn Erso is Jan Ors from aliexpress etc
You gave up time you are never going to get back. We appreciate your sacrifice because at this point I’m 99.9% positive Disney is trolling its own audience with these shows.
Dude you make so many good points I never would have considered when I watched this trash. Like the whole mando tracking thing. Now I’m like “… hold up.”
I love your reviews and your channel is awesome! Pretty funny too. Yeah there are lots of flaws and things in science and logic that don't make any sense lol. I get it. But it's Hollywood and fiction and I liked it a lot. I did however notice many flaws like you mentioned but I just had fun with it. I guess they need to sell more toys. My only serious complaint is that Boba Fett never showed up. A++++ Thumbs UP! Keep em coming.
