There’s truth to this but it’s a small component of the bigger picture. I get >10k steps per day every day and I am also was consistently overweight with a BMI >30-34% for decades.. Diet is the #1 answer, nothing else, not cardio, not weight training, not N.E.A.T, not supplements or pills.. bring down the calories so that you are in a deficit and that’s it. Even macros matter less than simply quantity of calories. I will say that for myself, I find it easier to stay satiated on fewer calories by focusing on lean protein 1g per pound which is really hard but super effective for me.
Yes. I started running a calorie deficit two weeks ago. Made sure my diet was right and on point before I started working out again. Started the gym this week. Since diet is already in check now I just worry about getting the right workouts
Losing 50kg, 110lbs has changed my life, and I challenge everyone to go on that journey, and they'll see that it improves so many aspects of your life. Stay Uncommon!
Dan I will forever be grateful that I enrolled in the lean body program. Its an excellent guide in how to direct ourselves and bring about amazing results. Thanx alot. Stay blessed
Great video Dan! I’m really starting to get a grip on this balance and longevity. Was super caught up on block fasting but always end up binging. Anyways, thanks for the content bud.
I've got about 6kg to go to have lost 21.9kg by 4th November. Will taking this video, and others of yours, into consideration to help me get there. I've still some way to go totally but 21.9kg in a year isn't bad.
You might want to double check the "ranked list of proteins based on the calories to protein ratio" spreadsheet in "Step 3 - Make The Right Protein Choices" on the "Step-By-Step Blueprint To Getting More Protein In Your Diet" blog entry. The ratio for Beef steak there seems too high. I'm getting 8 - 10 for popular cuts vs the 19.6 you have there?
