This is honestly a great point to play the game, with both the Lob Corp Ordeal event and Christmas event, there’s gonna be so many level up items as rewards, and especially a ton of thread.

I love the Hyper as hell energy of L corp Don, and N corp Don makes me uncomfortable. It's funny just how different the vibes and voice of the IDs are despite being the same character and voice actress.

The problem with Faust being "boring" is that a lot of her more interesting story bits are locked behind her ID stories from uptie 3. Her other universe selves are probably better characterization than what we get in the main story at the moment.

Yeah that's a fairly expected tier list for this point in the story. They haven't had the time to flex their chops just yet, but now we're headed for the average DnD adventure and the fun beyond, so I look forward to your rapidly changing opinion on literally everyone.

That post-canto tier list is 100% fair immediately after Canto 1. Hong Lu has a total of maybe 5 lines and a lot of people DO just flat-out forget Meursault exists until later in the game. All I'll say is that all of the characters get a LOT of character development, and no single Sinner goes unloved by Project Moon.

'tis the day of Don 00s it seems. You can fit so much self-radicalisation into Donquisitor. She's perfectly unremarkable on her own, being a tremor ID with no special gimmicks, but if you ever want to run a N Corp team for the synergy, you're now one step closer to getting there. Lantern Don is very new but she's already proven herself capable enough to solo hard mode Mirror Dungeons. She may not be the best self-heal tank, but it's enough and her Rupture count application slots her very nicely into Rupture parties. The Seven's gimmick is not having a single bad or even mediocre ID. Well, actually it's high clash numbers, exploiting vulnerability types, and rupture. And Heath "my source is I made it the fuck up" Cliff is especially good at the latter. As usual, most status effects aren't worth running outside of a party dedicated to them, but between the latter two IDs you might be able to cook something.

Tierlist is a great idea. Then just switch places after every canto. It allows you to think about every character individually and track their growth (not sure about Verg and Charon but for the first one it's fair enough to have them).

40:25 The events of Lobotomy Corporation (time shenanigans aside) took 10 years from the perspective of the city. Given how the war had to have ended before the main branch started operation, by Limbus the smoke war had to have been over for at least 11 years (one extra to account for likely bureaucratic delays and a missing library) and war propaganda was still up on subways walls by the time Gregor was discharged.

The setup of the event just waves of weak (low level) enemies for the sinners to butcher every round. To get the cosmetic rewards, you'll need to kill every enemy every round, which soft requires at least 1 sinner that excels at killing many enemies at once, even without E.G.O.; The community has settled on 2 "solutions" to this at this point, Effloresced E.G.O. Spicebush Yi Sang using Sunshower's E.G.O., and Lobotomy E.G.O. Magic Bullet Outis using Ebony Stem's E.G.O.. Try borrowing one of these using support, and giving them the team captain (buff given to the unit shown as "1" on team selection). Lobotomy E.G.O. Regret also excels on this stage, but isn't a make-or-break solution like Spicebush and Magic Bullet. There's no shame in borrowing a unit for this, since what it asks of you is unusually specific. Be sure to give the "Hard" a try, you can probably secure most of the mission rewards without difficulty just by sending one of the aforementioned supports in as solo. PS: Hook Office Fixer Hong Lu will be available in dispenser while Walpurgisnacht lasts (until the 24th). If you can scrape up 150 Hong Lu egoshards, he's an easy recommend.

With what's been said about not having Key Pages for the Tingtangers, check the Dispensary every once in a while. "Season 1" has all of the IDs related to factions shown off in Cantos 1-3. There's Limbus Company Remnant Faust for chapter 1, and one of the best generic (not beholden to statuses or mechanics) launch IDs in the game was Tingtang Gang Gangleader Hong Lu. He's still a fantastic unit, even after 3 seasons of powercreep and Hong Lu not having an ID less than great at a minimum

Meursault is SSS tier

Very neat doing a sinner rating after every canto, guves alot more insight in how someone experiences the story for the first time

Hong lu so low hurts to see but its a valid take to have this early after virtually no screentime in canto 1, the dialogue he does get is delightful though.

The tierlist was great, for post Canto I it feels pretty accurate. The characters develop wonderfully, especially as you realize that every single dialogue line, even just '...'s have a reason for being inserted into scenes. How dare you drop Charon down from S though. Buying the Premium pass is all you really need as well, buying levels or that other pack deals is really not necessary unless you're starting really late into the season, of which you should be fine on having 2 whole months before the season ends to clear out all the unique rewards. Once you finish Canto II you'll have access to pretty much the rest of the game's content.

Foreman if you’re gonna grind the event missions then don’t feel bad about using support ID’s. Even people that have been playing for a while need some help since some of the missions are impossible without specific EGo’s/ID’s.

the book rodya is from is my favorite from all sinners so i personally wished more from the canto but dont let me or others deter you from fully enjoying this canto . it has some great moments . also tierlist is a great idea but dont forget that sinners will get way more then charon and vergil .

@foremanplaystuff I did start Limbus around early december and manage to complete the season pass yesterday 1/13. Just make sure to do the dailys, complete missions and when you get mirror dungeons do like 1 or 2 a day and you should complete it way before the due date.

Malkuth's (Malcute~) announcer voicelines always make me giddy, she's so upbeat. Praying for those Walpurgis pulls~ Seven Heath and Lantern Don, not a bad start to a Rupture team. Base Gregor and Outis also play around with Rupture a tad bit (moreso Greg than Outis), and Outis' base EGO also applied a tad bit of rupture and is pretty cheap. If you can get Magic Bullet Outis tho, you can definitely start playing around with your Burn bois a fair bit more~

I really like the 7 association IDs for a lot of reasons, but a big one is the CLANGG sound effect they have for clashes LMAO

Very happy to see you still simping for Seven Association - as someone who ALSO tried to make them work in Ruina, and also realized that, despite being very cool, they really do fuck all there. Pleased to announce they're mostly a proper team here. I love all of them, they focus on rupture, and while Seven Yi Sang is probably best replaced with Warp Yi Sang in a rupture team (which is fine since you said you want him too!), and Seven Ryoshu might not apply much rupture (but she has some damn good rolls, plus slash fragility), even just the coolness factor is enough to sometimes just run the full Seven team. It's way too early for this, but there's something to aim for once you start getting egoshard crates and become able to outright buy units.

Ah, the Ting Tang Gang. I remember for the month or so I played this game I had Ting Tang Hong Lu, and he was certainly an identity. You'd love him, he's like that Yujin card that's either a 3 or a 40 and that Geb card that retargets on kills all in one.

About Canto 2... Yeah, not gonna lie, I had to read through it like three times and am still sure that I missed something. So if things seem a bit disjointed, I don't blame you, it's a surprisingly dense Canto...

How about trying out other IDs from your friend list since the first two or three cantos don't really pose much of a threat? That way you'll know roughly what IDs you like so you'll know who you want to farm for in the future

btw enemies with passives start trickling in about now so it might be a good idea to try checking any new enemies you see for whether or not they have any meaningful passives to keep in mind, that's actually the reason a bunch of red 45's showed up after don killed the ting tang boss

People already told you this probably, but you can save up tickets for a 10 pull. 10 pulls (via tickets or lunacy) guarantee at least a 00 ID, which is something 10 individual pulls don't. Obviously it's up to you if you want to try your luck anyway, but thought you should know.

While your IDs and egos are pretty under power for what’s recommended for the ordeal you can use a support ID from people on your friends list to help you out. You might be able to fully clear the normal ordeal with a support magic bullet outis. The support tab is at the top when viewing a characters IDs while preparing for the fight.

You have indeed pronounced Walpurgisnacht correctly. Time for reviews! Note that for all of them, I will be using UT4/UT3 as the basis for the review, so keep that in mind while reading. N Corp Mittelhammer Don Quixote: This identity confuses me. Her skills are... average, but her Skill 3 rolls so below par that I'm baffled that it was approved. The main gimmick for her is applying Nails (Which causes the enemy to gain stacks of bleed) and Tremor. The former is alright at the best of times, and the latter is... god awful at the best of times. All of this put together makes this an ID that, while technically useable, I'd say is only marginally better than using her base Identity. Lobotomy Corp EGO:: Lantern Don Quixote: I've never used her much since release, so take this with a grain of salt, but reportedly she's quite good. A Rupture Tank with considerable self-sustain, she's rather good for a 00 Identity, maybe even eeking into 000 territory. However, she is incredibly dependant on being on a Rupture team to get the most of out of her Coin Power conditionals (which generally need Rupture Potency to trigger), so maybe not the best for teams outside of that. Of course, I could very well be wrong, so take it with a grain of salt- This identity is one I'm considerably less certain on. Seven Association Heathcliff: Oh dear, another Identity I actually don't know much about. His rolls have a bit to be desired, but from what I have heard, he's incredible on Rupture teams, outclassing all other Identities in that niche specifically. His rolls are middling to below-average without the conditional on his skills, but with the conditionals they're... more acceptable, I suppose. Take this one perhaps with the most grain of salt, but this is still quite useful. What is Cast (Rodion): Rodion, Rodion, Rodion. This EGO is stupid good. A minimum roll of 15 means it can handily outclash most skills, and the max roll of *28* at Uptie 3 means that it'll basically always win clashes. It inflicts a small bit of bleed on hit, but the important part of the skill is the fact that if an enemy has more than 50% of HP remaining, this EGO deals 30% extra damage. This is maybe one of the few EGO that is actually amazing at inflicting damage and can be spammed constantly for reliable, extremely effective damage output. The passive of the EGO is also pretty good, albeit minor, as it just lets her recover SP quicker and lose less of it. (Edit: Demonsoul has since corrected me on this. Basically, it can clash but isn't too good at damage despite my initial thoughts, the passive isn't enough to affect anything, and it lacks utility. As they put it, "What is Cast is good if your goal is to win. It is meh if you want to win well.") Chains of Others (Meursault): Damage is not the main function of this EGO, although it's a very consistent clasher that has quite a good range, meaning that it will generally succeed even if it rolls tails. The main function here is to cripple both Meursault and whatever enemy you face. You might wonder how this would EVER be useful... but bosses normally come at you by themselves. And you have 5 Sinners. If you have Meursault spam Chains of Others to cripple the enemy's speed and clashing abilities, even if Meursault himself becomes as useful as a log, your 4 other sinners are still perfectly capable of kicking the now crippled boss' teeth in. The passive of the EGO just lets him become resistant to 30% of damage if he's targeted by 3 people, which is a bit hard unless you're running an Identity that has Aggro.

As someone with a 7s team, they look sick. As far as I know it's -Outis -Faust -Heath -Yi Sang -Ryoshu EGO Don works well with them as they focus on Rupture which is just bonus damage for attacks.

just a consideration; it feels as if you're trying to fight to be heard over the game rather consistently, and are raising your voice for it. it's not uncommon in your videos but it's almost constant here, and i personally at least find it makes it somewhat hard to listen to. that said, this is just a voice of one. glad you're enjoying the game so far.
