Thank you Dr. Gundry. By following your list to avoid certain food, my leaky gut got so much better these years. By the way, I think refine oil is harder to avoid in my country(like soybean oil), it's been widely used in restaurant, or if we read the label carefully, it can be find almost any where.

What about some beet greens? I freeze my leafy veggies (except cabbage) as soon as I buy them to preserve the quality. I then put them into my smoothies with my beets, avocado, and unsweetened coconut milk. Cacao or a Gundry approved fruit helps the flavor to make them go down smoothly!

Dr. Gundry, thank you for another interesting issue. I have some questions, please answer: 1. If a person has an enlarged thyroid gland, are cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower) not dangerous? 2. Chard: I read that it contains a lot of potassium and folic acid, and if there is a lot there will be thick blood, platelets and an increase in cholesterol levels. What do you say about the chard?

I am so glad I'm learning a boat.Spinach, I know, if you cook spinach, you get more and out of it.And if you cook tomatoes , you get more vitamin c , but the thing with A man he should not have too much iron in his system. Because it can interfere with the heart.Correct me if i'm Wrong. I hope it wasn't a wife's tail that a man should not have food that's high in Iron and therefore should not cook out of the cast iron's frying PAN.

Ive heard people say its not recommended to eat poke unless its its fully cooked first because its possibly toxic raw but is there any healthy benefits to it after cooked and then fried (thats how its prepared)? Thanks.

@@lf4061 thanks for the advice and im sorry to read about that. I ate it quite a bit growing up but my mom and grandmother knew how to prepare it. I have heard its toxic raw. I would advise anyone to cook and fry it completely first. By the way if you prepare spinach the same way it tastes very similar and the spinach is safe!

@user-cf7yt9ff3l
@user-cf7yt9ff3l 22 дня назад
I love you Dr. Gundry, and you have changed my life, but spinach is not a crucifer. It's related to swiss chard and beets (family Amaranthaceae). Swiss chard and beets belong to the same family, but in the subfamily Chenopodiaceae. I used to love all three but now have to avoid them due to an oxalate problem! The greens I use the most are chicories (sunflower family) such as escarole, endive, and radicchio. Lettuce is in the sunflower family as well. Ignore your detractors. They don't have your deep understanding of evolution!

I don't know about you, but to eat anything on a Gundry's diet is harder and harder with each video. Can I get chicory family veggies in shops in my country (Czech Republic)? No. Can I get anything allowed in a bio form and fresh (not going mouldy because it lays there many days, because people are not buying bio at all)? No. Very hard to buy anything else (and not even in a bio quality) than cabbage, cauliflower, brocolli or iceberg lettuce (which surprise, surprise, is quite trash acording to this video) .
