@@TheTheninjagummybear Essential elements books are basically the first thing you get for an instrument. They basically teach you what scales are and how to position your hands on the instrument. They give you a couple practices to help you learn the positions of notes and by the end you leave knowing hot cross buns and Mary had a little lamb. It just means he just got started, its just funny to musicians because usually you have sheet music up of a piece you're trying to learn, not the absolute basics.
