Though I sadly had to skip over the final Super Mario Bros. Super Show! DVD that I currently have in my collection due to its insane amount of scratches that rendered my copy unplayable; Alex, Sam, and Clover are still able to take their own final bow (at least for now) on this channel!
The only Totally Spies! DVDs I currently own are the second half of season 2 and the first half of season 3. Thus, as hinted at earlier, we have officially reached the end of my time regularly uploading the entire contents of a Totally Spies! DVD release in my collection. I bought both sets in 2020 at Dollar General, who presumably got them as leftover stock that Flatiron wanted to clear, because all the DVD releases of Totally Spies! sadly went out-of-print that exact same year. If I am able to find any additional Totally Spies! DVDs, you can bet they’ll be covered here, but no guarantees as to whether or not I’ll ever get my hands on them.
This DVD set has no trailers and only one menu screen (which lets you either pick an individual episode on a specific disc or play that disc’s entire platter), so the obligatory rundown list will only consist of the episodes included on this disc:
8.) “Halloween”
9.) “Power Yoga Much?”
10.) “Head Shrinker Much?”
11, 12, and 13.) “Evil Promotion” (3-part special)
Don’t ask me why the episodes are in lowtone despite the disc’s menu presenting the show’s theme song in its correct pitch. I have no idea why, either.
Hoped you enjoy this little trip through my entire lot of Totally Spies! DVDs. Too bad it’s impossible for me to buy any of the other DVD releases of the series for a good price right now, but hopefully a thrift store will be able to change that predicament! In the meantime, though, get ready for more of that fiery-headed kid with a turbo-charged backpack, and the final dose of the band who’s really cool and stealing words from you-know-who.
