It's a nice change of pace to see more stock cars battling it out on the Touge, and foreign ones too. Don't get me wrong, I also love it when tuners gather around to compete their builds on the MAX series.
Thank you for the english subs! I have a C7 Z51 7MT with the mag suspension and I always took it kind of personal the way they goofed on Corvettes like the ZR1 and C6. My C7 truthfully drives very similar to my old AP2 just 20% larger with twice the horsepower. Even has a quicker steering rack. You can even set the display to look like the bar graph from the S2000. These are a steal for being in the mid-thirty thousand dollar range and the insurance is dirt cheap because it's considered an old man's car!
Love the Hot Version Best Motoring ! Takes me back to the late 90s early 00s when we couldn't wait to get a new dvd release from these guys. DK, MAXX , Nob but where is Kazumi chan??????? Thank you for uploading this w/ english subtitles.
私はこのチャンネルが大好きで、非常に面白く、非常に有益で、車の間で偏った意見ではなく、購読したばかりです👍 I'm in love for this channel, very entertaining, very informative, not biased opinion between the cars, just subscribed 👍
LC500 is a GT, and the C7 Corvette is a sports car (some versions could be considered supercars...). The 50/50 weight distribution (helped by the transaxle), GM's differential calibrations, and their front end tuning really make these cars fly. Similar front end treatment has been seen on the Cadillac ATS-V and CTS-V of the same era, mid to late 2010s. GM engineers won't say exactly what they're doing, but, as Jason Cammisa put it, these cars are "dynamagic," which he says is achieved through a combination of diff programming, magnetic shock tuning, and the PTM (stability control) system. At least in terms of the ATS-V, if you experience understeer, you could "simply add more lock to the steering wheel. In response, the car tightens its line." The C7 does the same.
Japanese people are very humble, they acknowledge that they still have much to learn from foreign cars despite the fact that their automotive technological prowess is at the peak.
No doubt, one is a full size lux car based coupe, the other a purpose built sports car with generations of pedigree.. Glad to see the clear lack of bias here, a willingness to admit the truth. We need more of that in more things.
Both of these cars are awesome. More people in the states tend to go more for the American Vette cause of the price for performance. But I can say for myself at least that the LC looks absolutely stunning in body language and design!
@@twincammikev its definitely not slow.... it just has different priorities than the corvette. its a much nicer car, is almost guaranteed to last longer, and has a back seat. compare a clean sc3/400/soarer to a clean late c4/early c5 corvette, much different cars... with the sc/soarer being much much nicer, and much more reliable in my experience.
I love seeing the corvette gettin some love. But man they did the LC500 dirty lol Poor thing didn't stand a chance, but in luxury, it's in a league of it's own man. Such a nice car. Looks incredible too
I had both corvette c7 z06 and lc500 at the same time. But i sold my corvette c7 z06 last month because i like more lc500. I don't need a sport car for track.
Nice video - overall killer quality of driving and animation. But I don't think Lexus LC500 is right opponent for Corvette? RC-F would be better Choice for this art of battle
