Thank you for this excellent video. I just got the 11 joules T4E TR50 for home defense. I have been wanting to have it loaded with the best ammo. I have Devastators and solid nylon balls (similar to the yellow balls you shot). You convinced me that the Devastators are the rounds to keep in my TR50.

Awesome Video !!! If you got shot with those devastator rounds it could be deadly at close range. The TR50 11 joules version would be a very good choice for self defense. Me personally would fill a mag with one pepper then a devastator round so 3 pepper and 3 devastators I think that would be an attackers nightmare they would be temporary blind and bleeding LOL

I have the same gun and it actually pushes up to 16 Joules and I mix my mags with devastators and Z-Rams. I can get up to 24 power shots with this combo before I have to change CO2. I like your videos🔥💥

These weapons are more designed as kinetic weapons for spherical rubber projectiles, it is true that Devastator and a whole variety of projectiles are attractive but I greatly doubt their behavior when shooting, I am not saying that it does not have a high level of penetration but that penetration is subject to the flight of the projectile being maintained at the same exit direction of the weapon and that does not happen because it comes out of a smooth barrel and its projectile stops traveling straight at the moment it leaves the barrel to rotate, say, the trajectory, we are not talking about precision In addition, for a weapon to be accurate it requires that its projectile not dance when leaving the barrel and here the PVC body projectiles dance in flight like the spherical ones do, with the peculiarity that one will always do so from the front and relative. another has a high possibility of not impacting with his head and doing so with his body

It must be kept in mind that although the Devastator has a PVC body with a drawing so that the exit is directed, as it is a smooth barrel weapon, so when the projectile leaves the weapon it is a free body, even if the distance is 5 meters, there is a Luckily, during its exit the Devastator projectile rotates and hits the PVC body, this would make its penetration fail. In fact in this video you can see that of the 6 Devastator shots only some have reached the second board if all 6 had hit the steel head-on the second board would have had 6 marks. This shows that Devastator or other rubber-bodied projectiles do not always impact in the same way since their rubber body does not keep it in the directed trajectory and rotates on the projectile itself. An example is that I want to throw a knife with a handle and throw a knife without a sleeve. What is the difference and why does Devastator penetrate more? Because the steel ball of the Devastator is smaller and since it has a PVC body it weighs less, we know that more speed translates into more penetration in the ballistic, in this case the heavier, the less speed, the less penetration. What happens and does not convince me is the coincidence that out of 6, 2 of them may not do it. I am more inclined towards steel-coated rubber balls because if the impact is always going to be complete. Although Devastator and other projectiles with a PVC body visually make us believe that the projectile is going to come out directed like a bullet, the reality is that this only happens in weapons with a rifled barrel, although Devastator has that shape when it comes out of the barrel it loses its direction and there is a rotation in the air until its impact and this can be with the steel head or with its rubber body, think that Devastator has 2 thirds of rubber and only 1 of steel. Try Deez Büllets way better, cheaper than the Devs and made in USA. Youll love them. Nice video. Take the valve block of that 11j for some more power. Umarex CO² makes a noticeable difference in performance also.

Nice video. I found out some of the devastator slugs are a little to tight so i failed it with a nail file
