So I think that he was planning to ride out winter in the Vale essentially from the get go. Like the plan post becoming obssesed with Sansa was more or less, frame Tyrells for Tyrion's Murder and Sansa kidnapping to start a rift/war, bail to Vale, watch shit burn, let winter set in, reemerge into the Riverlands in spring. So I think that more or less LF is just talking out his ass about Cersei because he thought he'd never see her again cuz Tywin was gonna be in charge in theory and dealing with a sketch alliance with the Tyrells. Cuz like how would he know that Tyrion or Oberyn was gonna kill Tywin? And like LF certainly has power in KL, but I thinkith he bragith too much on it and he's more or less improving things. Which is all a long way to say I think that while he's fumbling the ball with the legit chaos he's now in that he'll get into trouble before he and Cersei's stars can realign. On the note of her betraying or fucking over people who don't see it coming tho... Thats my secret hope for Euron's ending and how I see her actually lasting to FINALBOSSQUEEN status in the books(?) Like what a twist for Euron god kraken blood king pirate boi to get burned alive in wildfyre by the lionqueen XD ... or just like straight up locked outside of the red keep or KL or something and left to die as a dragon or army descends on the gates... personally I like her blowing him up with wildfyre or burning him or something but thats just my take, lots of cool options out there.

So I feel like LF is actually going to be a bit distant from anything in KL in the upcoming books. He and his plot must return to the Riverlands...

So my personal theory which is kind of modified off. Other people's theories is that the cat's paw is the same person who brought the lens and he had orders to murder. Basically, whichever young Stark became available first. So it wasn't like he was required to stay in contact with little finger. He had a plan and then he was supposed to make it work on the fly. Which is why we got the lens and the letter. And then the attack on bran who was vulnerable. I think this is also why he was like living in the stables. Like he didn't have a definitive timeline on when he was attacked. He just knew he would need to attack some predetermined time after the king's party left and when one of the younger starts became available.

I tend to believe that Doran and Dorne are gonna show up big and that he has major plans. But thats because I think PJ was spot on about like 70-80% of the Deeper Dorne series. So that kinda informs my stance on Dorne. Plus I just love Dorne and I think that a dumb Doran is just no where near as fun as a actually winning 5D chess Doran
