Man, Daniel would be hella jealous.

this is actually a very realistic what if!! however, i think that daniel having the power instead of the player makes it so your choices matter more, since how daniel uses his power is all up to you.

I feel like they did this to do something different. We are so used to being the one with the power. But having to look after your little sibling who has the power and barley knows how to use it without hurting people.. Thats not something we see often. I like it.

If Sean had the power they would've been in Mexico by ep 4, if you read his notebook you'll find out him and Daniel had to do alot of running away because Daniel lost control of his powers

i hate how everyone is calling Daniel a brat as if they could go through what he had to go through at 9 and 10 years old. Oh gawd these people seem to forget Daniel acting up is completely justifiable he's a freaking child who has gone through so much shitty shit for gods sake he saw his father killed he was homeless for months he grew up without a mother he went days tired and hungry he had to work on a freaking weed farm he is able to act up he's able to be mad he's still just a child.

hmm... while it would be ‘better’ gameplay wise, as the player would be able to be more interactive, it is a nice change of pace that the main character isn’t the ‘special’ one for once!

who would've thunk so much would change if they hadn't gotten kidnapped by Hank? and this is really interesting. hearing you talk about it, i can definitely see Daniel and Sean's relationship being significantly more strained if Sean had the power because, even tho i think Sean does have a tiny bit of jealousy in the canon game, since hes older, he's able to reel it in better. Daniel, local 9 year old, wouldnt know how to. especially given that Daniel is already a very jealous person. i think theyd be able to reconcile at certain moments, like that scene in the woods you described, but ultimately, i think their relationship would be broken beyond repair bc i just dont think Daniel would be able to overlook it. what an interesting premise to think about. great video!

Sean Diaz does have powers. It is all over chapter 4. He has some version of Dream walking or second sight. His drawings also become increasingly surreal has the story progresses. The first out of character drawing is that of Mushroom. His drawings become more surreal after the events of chapter 3.

There is still one episode to find out if he does have powers. I doubt it but hey it’s life is strange anything can happen

If Sean had the power, they would have made their way to the Reynolds’s, and Sean would have left Daniel there and made his way to Mexico alone. He no longer would have had to watch over his super human little brother.

the game wouldn't make sense and it be boring and not emotionally impactful on the player as it was. me personally I like how they did it, it was great that the MC isn't the one with the ability but can still somewhat control what happens I always wanted a game like that. and I hate ppl who are blaming Daneil for having the power and how he keeps messing up he's a 9 year old kid are you ppl stupid the poor thing went through a lot of trauma, with being chased by the police force and is an orphane his mom wants nothing to do with him and constantly on the run in fear of his life and is raceily dicrmanted almost dying for some of the episodes . i don't blame him for acting out. so stop with the hate towards a fictanial character and get help.

If Sean had the power this game would actually have an interesting gameplay mechanic to use throughout the episodes and not a 9 year old brat that keeps fucking everything up because the plot demands it.
