What do you do when your ex breaks no contact and reaches out?
Do you ignore your ex? If you should respond, what should you say? Coach Lee explains and guides you through what to avoid and what to do when your ex reaches out during no contact.
It seems like exactly what you wanted to happen has happened in that your ex has reached out to you, but then it hits you that you aren't sure how to respond and if there is anything that you should avoid saying or doing when talking to them.

My success story: Not sure who will see this message but I had a 1 month talking stage/situation ship with this girl. Connection was intense and I ended up scaring her away asking too soon for exclusivity and trying to exert a boundary. 1 month and a half of no contact, I promise it felt like she couldn't care less. I felt so discarded. I kept doing me, leveling up. Quiet on social media, only posting social activities and at one point I decided to just forget about her loving how empowered I felt and she ended up reaching out. Now I m not even sure I want her back, it feels like she s 2 weeks too late. A reminder to everybody to love themselves. No contact works once your energy moves on. Thank you coach Lee, you truly helped me with my self esteem during this time and your advice, listen to this man people, don't get influenced by naysayers in the comment

She left me for another man (rebound) and legitimately recognized her mistake. I’d follow coach to hell. I thank him and God for working together I’m my favor

She reached out after a month, but only for friendship. We had a few positive interaction but.. I messed up by showing her how hurt I was, and she blocked me and told me we're done I don't know what else to do, but I still want her back, can someone please help?

I hear that each and everytime she reached out she said she wanted to come back home but it was lies then I offered to pay for her travel to come home and planned a day together then she ignored me, I havent contacted her in a week before this I went no contact for 5/6 weeks then she reached out again only to give me breadcrumbs and false hope, I dont get it

@@thehavoc6331 I hear your pain my friend. Here’s what I recommend: don’t try to pursue her and give it time. Start working out and finding a new hobby. Think of it like you’re an injured athlete who got carried out on a stretcher. In the meantime, become the best version of yourself. Eventually, she may come around and you can make your triumphant return. Until then, BINGE coach lee. He has all the info. Good luck

When we broke up, I did all the wrong things, begged, cried etc. I found Coach Lee and went into no contact. 28 days later, my ex reached out, I was sooooo happy, but he was only checking to see if I was seeing anyone, I told him that I wasn't seeing anyone but was talking to a few people. I thought he was ready to get back together, but he wasn't. I went back into no contact and he reached out again 12 days later, this time he's ready. It's been 5 days and we agreed to take it slow. I know no contact is hard but it does work. I learned alot about relationships watching these videos. Thanks Coach Lee!

Since my breakup I have; quit multiple drugs, cut back significantly on alcohol, gained 20lbs(I was severely underweight), stopped biting my fingernails, saved up a good chunck money, got a tan, stopped taking anxiety/depression medication, and discovered a new love for myself. Use your breakup as fuel to become a better person and find new self-worth. Growth also doesn't happen overnight, stay disciplined! I wish everyone here the best!

Guys .. my ex and I broke up about 9 months ago. I didn’t hear from him until 5-6 months into the break up. I never thought I’d hear from him again, so it can happen. I cut all strings of hope. He messaged me initially around xmas to say happy holidays and to wish I was doing well. I told him happy bday a month later and he started a full conversation that lasted a while, even mentioned how much his family asks about me still. I played it cool and didn’t feed into anything. We are mutual, but I don’t intend to ever reach out on my own. He never even apologized for the way he treated me so I don’t think I want to be friends either, just friendly if anything. I promise you .. better yourself , focus on yourself, do things that make you happy and don’t rely on the thought of someone wanting to come back. You deserve someone who never leaves you and willfully apologizes for mistreating you. You only deserve the best.

Do not let him have you back easily. He must earn it. Especially that he went for another girl. He should really work hard to get you to even talk to you.

It's actually the polar opposite for me. When I see my phone ring and it's her number, I get anxiety. I never know what to expect. No contact works! He came back after two weeks. Prior to no contact I would constantly call him/beg/want to talk etc. just acted absolutely pathetic. I went into NC, restored my dignity and went about living my best life with the intention of moving on if I needed to. When he reached out I was polite but not overly enthusiastic. Now he is chasing. She actually said as her friend she wants me to be there for her on her best and worst days. I'm like ummm, that's supposed to be your husband and that's not me. Also, I can't even give real advice because you left me for him. So I told her I can't do this anymore and for the first time I said goodbye. She left three months ago and not once have either of us actually said goodbye. It was left open and obviously it kept happening. I'm done. And it's been 10 days since then. She never responded. Coach Ken, Coach Lee, thank you for teaching me so much about break ups and relationship dynamics. My ex came back to me last night, 3 months after the break up, and 2 months of radio silence. He reached out to me twice during this time, and after we spent the whole day with each other yesterday at the sport event, he kissed me, and then he cried and told me he wants us to try again. I've been watching your videos for a month coach Lee! Your intro music gives me hope and makes me feel good!! Just today my ex broke no contact by approaching me in a friendly way and we had a conversation about our relationship and it went perfect!! During that entire time I was thinking about your videos and your advice that I collected from several of your videos. We reconciled and I do want her back. It was three months. Your videos helped me so much! After I begged and did all the wrong things. Went into contact for 10 days and he reached out testing the waters. I went back into no contact and then I got weak and broke it and he responded poorly. Went back into no contact for 75 days. During the entire 4.5 months I lost weight, started dating and heavy into sports. He contacted me out of the blue. I responded very casual and friendly but not overly. After that he texted almost every day until he began to call. I always kept it short yet upbeat (gotta run meeting friends etc). Then he asked to see me and apologized for everything. He asked me to get back together and everything has been much better now. I also bought the breakup kit. Can’t thank you enough! I am stronger now too and more confident with or without him. I had a relationship exactly like this. I call it my love/hate relationship. He would beg me back, told him I needed a week to consider it, then a week later HE told me he changed HIS mind before I could tell him my decision. After 4 months of this every 30 days, i said enough! Never again

I can't believe how good you are! Wish I had come here first. My ex reached out during no contact (4 days ago), 3 weeks into the NC period, very casually and I ignored it. I know he's dating someone else and didn't trust myself to respond, afraid of what I might say. After watching several of your videos, I feel much more calm and centered. Getting him back may or may not happen, but I'm starting to feel peace knowing that whatever is meant to be is what will happen if I just allow it to. Fast forward 2 years I’m done... no contact is it, I just don’t care anymore all the bs I put up with its pointless!! Funny story, my ex was bisexual... Today I had a moment of weaknes and i decided to stalk her facebook a bit. idk if she changed it recently, but it says she is interested in women now... Thank goodness I didn't listen to other dating coaches who say when your ex reaches out to ignore them. Coach Lee doesn't recommend that, and it never made sense to me anyways. His solid advice of not ignoring, but not getting overly excited is the way that I got my ex to reach out to me. I thought it was key how he says not to chase...I often fall into that mistake. But when I respond in the way he recommends, I always get the best response for my ex. It may take him a little while, sometimes weeks, as long as a couple months another time. But he does end up reaching out and has frequently said he misses me.

I've reached my ex after 2 months of no contact per your advice "that you don't have nothing to lose" and you were right: I've realized that he didn't feel the same way and that I indeed did not lose anything, so now I have almost 3 months of no contact after that, and I know for sure he won't reach out. And it's ok, it is what it is. I'm not going to waste my time waiting for him because now I know that when he said he wanted us to break up, he really meant it and all of that "let me fix my mind and my life and I'll come back to you" was absolute BS. I know he's with someone else now, that he was with her while still being with me, and even though that was hurtful at the beginning, I do feel better now, and now that I know he won't come back, I still like to watch your videos and get an advice from you, since you have helped me a lot during this time. Following your advice was good for me, I'm pretty sure it will be good for another people having the same situation as well. Now I try to be the best just for me, and it's good. Patricia omg this is the same as me! Everything was going great. Beautiful intimate connection that seemed like when we were together we were in a relationship. She freaked out and said I just want to be single and I've got to sort my shit out. I reached out the other night after a month nc. My relationship was less then 3 months. She responded with a cold sentence no emotion. Not the person I was in love with. I'll go straight back into nc and keep improving myself so that I'm ready for someone who will be real and truthful with me. What else do you think I should do?

@@grahamwalton8351 wow, same here because we had such a connection with each other and a lot in common... it was a great relationship and we were together for a year and a half. However he changed. And I didn't notice because we were separated during the pandemic, and when we got to see each other after months, he decided to break up. His answer was cold as well when I reached out after 2 months of no contact, and I guess that was the answer I needed. I would encourage you to keep going, even if everything seems to fall apart, keep working on you, love you and put you in the first place, that's what I do. And I know it hurts but you will get through, I can tell you that you will, because time helps a lot and suddenly you will find peace. I've found peace with him, with the idea that I'm not gonna see him ever again, that everything is over, but mostly I've found peace with myself and with this entire situation. I'm sure you will do this as well, keep going!!

The thoughts and memories are what I'm struggling with. Thsnkyou for your reply. You seem like a wonderful woman and I appreciate you talking with me. Never seeing her again well that thought breaks my heart but I guess that is the cold reality. I'm glad I reached out though in a way. Not much time has passed do you never know. And I do also have flashbacks to the days when we were together and you know, even though it sucks, you have the good memories, and everything good you did for her should remain on your mind as a proof that you really loved her. However, and I will say this, for me it was good to get to this point since my ex was cheating on me and when I asked him about that, it's when he decided to break up adding to that "that it was badly done and that he was a bad man, because I've never failed to him but he did, and that he had mental issues he had to work with". So, after thinking about it, I guess it was good because I was living a fake relationship. I'm not saying you lived the same situation, however, this type of situations can help us to see the reality, the true face of your ex partner and what you expect in the future with another person, what treat you really deserve. It's hard, but you can do it, keep going!! It was really good talking to you. Believe me 😁

I was doubting NC would work! She left me for another guy!! In exactly 30 days she contacted me and begged me to take her back! She told me everything reminded her of me and just missed me and couldn’t get me out of her mind! She also told me she just couldn’t connect with her rebound! I can’t believe how powerful NC is! Thanks coach Lee- out of everyone on here, you stick to the point, don't push your break up kit hard or spend time advertising. You've been a great help. I did get the break up kit in the end and it has helped some although your free content is great too. Well no contact went well for 3 weeks. When he left me he said he'd be in contact soon to check in. After 3 weeks He asked for a convo and we spoke. It started with him saying he missed me and regretted his decision and could we try again. When I said I'd be open to it and we should take things step by step he flipped out (lol) and said oh well we clearly aren't on the same page i was hoping for a romantic gesture from you (wtf?) and I have changed my mind!!! (Meaning he didn't want to try again). This is a fully grown almost 40 year old dude. Im stumped. That was a couple weeks ago now and I've not made a move since. Not quite sure what happened there but reckon he was expecting me to grovel and be super happy. Dude,you dumped me!!!! Confused!!!

Here is my advice Don't let your emotions rule your discretions. I always say don't invest based on how much you love them but invest on how much they invest on you. If you honestly just walk away and time I promise you will eventually not want them back but you must delete them from all social media no calls or text nothing to them if they really want you back they will know how to find you even after you block and delete them I'm not a pro or a professional this is just my opinion. It's what has always worked for me

Thank you for the great advice Coach Lee!! My ex asked me to meet on day 51 of no contact and 2 months of being broken up. I wasn’t sure he would come back because he said that we would probably not get back together when we broke up. I cried and asked him to give me a chance. When he said no, I wished him the best and we parted ways. So these past couple months, I’ve been applying NC for my sake and the possibility of reconciliation😢We were together for almost 5 years and broke up due to having too many arguments. These are some encouraging results! I’m going to see how it goes.

Realize there are A LOT of crazies out there and others who are completely emotionally immature. Back and forth they go, often times taking the blame but continuing to do the same thing over. When you fall in love with someone fall in love with who they are and not their potential. Fall in love with them, not the idea of them. Words are cheap. Trust their actions. Value yourself.
