TYson already declined at this point, No more rooney in his corner. Just a madwoman wife who already destroyed mike psychologically.Mike already showed slight decline in his bruno fight prior.
The sparing made Mike a beast whit this guy he pushed Mike so hard what a great fighters Mike was just 16 at time he was facing this monster Atlantic brother
I doubt there was anything scarier than getting into a boxing ring and seeing Tyson with that glare, pacing around the ring like caged animal, and then seeing that up close just before the first round.
GREAT TO SEE BLTV IS BACK. Uploading at a constituent pace, the greatest boxing channel and good paste in videos. Thank you for explaining knowledge ! 😂
Before anyone says that ref waved it off prematurely RANDY NUEMAN WAS A TOP 10 heavyweight contender in the 1970s he knows when a fighter is in good shape to continue or not
@chell9019 For sure. Even though it was a strong blow by Tyson that would have stunned Williams, it wasn't enough to render him unable to fight (only the first round as well). And I don't buy it that Williams was leaning on the ropes. Also interesting to note this was a similar blow Tyson landed on Douglas and yet Douglas was effectively given a generous 13-second count.
@@montana47261 He already has brain damage. Its boxing ever hit is brain damage. Now go on. You don't know what you are talking about. The guy had more left and they wanted Mike to win no matter what at that time so he called it early because he was giving Mike problems.
You guys should make a video for every prime Tyson fight (although this one is slightly post-prime) These are amazing and very rewatchable. Guaranteed views.
Cus D'Amato knew that he had a future champion, who needed to be pushed further than he had been, and he'd run out of anybody Mike's age who could do that.
Williams made the mistake of making some "I'm out of it" facial expression just as the ref completed his obligatory 8 count. It's a bad face to make as the ref makes his final assessment as to whether or not he can continue. I think he was subconsciously trying to sell a stoppage and then saving face with the protest afterwards.
When I get p*ed off watching garbage stoppages in MMA... I always immediately think "well they're at least still nowhere near as atrocious as the stoppages in boxing, like Tyson v Williams for instance"... And then that only makes me irritated all over again because the stoppages in MMA are often horrifically bad and there's legit a sport with even worse ones
@@billking1751 yes he was. He took over the pool table and wouldn't let anyone else play! Holyfield walked up to him and took the pool cue away from him. Tyson sulked and walked off. Holyfield 1 - tyson 0. 😆 🤣
