So I hated reading this book in High School, but damn is it important for young men to read today assuming they aren’t living it. The book is “Great Expectations” by Charles Dickens. Pip spends years fawning over the hot Estella raised by the man hating Ms. Havisham. Buddy was there all along, but he didn’t give her the time of day until it was too late and she married his last sister’s widower, Joe. He ended up with Estella in the end, but kind of a bittersweet ending. Somehow I doubt Estella stuck around.

The question is not true to reality. Women are not encouraged to be a hoe. In fact other than society forcing you to go to school to get a basic level of education, society doesn't encourage you to do anything. You're not encouraged to do anything. 1 BILLION percent accurate. As a former co-dependent. I ONLY was attracted to Women who were "BAD" for me and I totally rejected relationships with women who were "healthy" on and on we go. Respectfully I disagree. There are rarely if ever only two options in life. You can always make a third, forth, or fifth option available to yourself with a bit of creativity and some hard work. Put a good plan in motion, work it diligently for a few years, then maintain the results with a lot less work afterwards. Believe it or not this applies equally to muscle building, real estate, relationships etc. Each is a domain of experience you can improve for yourself if you choose.

It just takes more work even after being careful to choose someone who shares similar values. I'm saying, don't trap yourself in a double bind when you can create alternatives that are worthwhile. I can still remember a picture of a friend of mine who had just gotten divorced. She posted a picture of her with a bunch of guys in a provocative pose. Her tween daughter posts underneath it, "NO!". Sent her a text asking WTF was she thinking? You have kids that are aware now. In their eyes, you're are,"Mom." 'You're better than that". I can't even imagine how scaring it would've been seeing my mom doing what she put on FB.

I wish this video came out 3 years ago. Happy you've made this one. This is the most important lesson men need to internalise, think with you head not your heart or dick, you will see very clearly all the red flags before you get in too deep. I which more channels talked about this in particular btu they all focus on how to become a "high value man". I learnt this lesson the hard way, if you are someone who hasn't yet learned it, take a breather each time you meet a girl you "like" and think with your head/mind, see reality for what it is, this simple act will save you energy, mental health, money and time. Time still is and will always be your most precious resource, so think with you head.

I think this is why, in the past, nobody just picked who they wanted to be with. They had help from match-makers who had been around longer than they. During the Middle Ages the life expectancy for men was 26 years and for women 34. Obviously, if they had waited until 25 then we would not be here now.

This is a popular myth. Average life expectancy was very low by our standards, but mostly due to very high infant mortality rates. Even factoring that in this "less than 30" isnt supported by any actual historical research. For people who made it past 5 it was not at all unusual to make it past 60 even in 13th century Europe.

Well no, it's not. If you look at the Life_Expectancy article on Wikipedia, you'll see it's actually a popular myth that what I wrote is a popular myth. In the 1800's life expectancy at birth was in the mid 30's. Silly to assert it was better in the Middle Ages. They have listing in the Wiki article stating that in late Medieval England it was 30-30, which is about the average of the male and female numbers I gave @@willesnille

My missus and I have been together 25 years now and when we started out I had NO FEELINGS towards her except that I liked spending time in her company. We had good comfortable conversations, we laughed at similar things, we were both young and awkward, we both came from difficult families. She wasn't my "type" but she was better than every woman who was. So I took a leap of faith and wanted to grow and see where it went. That's all I "felt". It turned out to be both a disaster and a blessing at times, but we're still together. I look back and I wouldn't change my decision for anything.

I use to talk to a lot of men and women and what I found out is this. If I ask them to give me 5 must haves that of future partner, the people in their early 20's will fill that with all physical attributes. Some women will throw in money as 1 of the 5 as well. However when you ask that same question of a >27 year old woman you will get near zero physical attributes. The men also start to drop down but not quite that much. They will have like 3-5 be non physical or sexual in nature. The issue with today is that woman have social media and they are constantly being told how great they are, and have dudes wanting them 24x7 and thus they get a distorted self worth. Then they potentially sleep with way too many men and thus by the time they are 27, they have had way too many partners for a "good guy" to want and be with.

If you marry when you are young it is for the right feelings at the time. Age and experience changes perceptions and also gives you the knowledge to analyse emotions and logic. The problem is over time whether your partner is young or older the person you partner up with changes. Those changes dictate if you stay together.

I've talked to so many guys who can literally talk nonstop about how bad their girl has treated him, I just ask why? Why would you put up with that? That question usually shocks them, they expect other guys to just commiserate with them as if that's just par for the course to put up with being emasculated and mistreated for the privilege of being with a woman.

Simply put, guys as lonely as hell! You can't go into a relationship with a woman unless she agrees to be in one with you. And when you are horribly lonely, yes; you see the red flags but you ignore them. To many guys, having a woman who wants to be with them and is willing to put out; that's the important thing! That's the HUGE important thing that matters more than everything else. She could be a homicidal cannibal, and there will be guys out there who'll ignore those red flags as well.... Just as long as she happily devours _their_ loneliness, that's ALL that matters.

When you get hired, thinking your job is going to be easy, then find out you have to really work at it to get ahead, you feel disillusioned. "Why am I not president of this company!? I've been here an entire week now!" This is the attitude most women have towards not only their jobs, but their marriages as well. As soon as they find out that a marriage requires actual work, that it's not all unicorns and rainbows, they bail on it, thinking that some other guy in a higher tax bracket is going to make it all better. Grow up, ladies. Life is NOT unicorns and rainbows. You are NOT a princess.

6:20 You are so right. I never had a lot of friends growing up and I was a needy kid. The woman I was obsessed about in my late 20s was a woman who was just as needy as I was. She loved texting me every morning, throughout the day, and before bed. She would send me sexy photos throughout the day and tell me how much she missed me. The worst part is, we weren't even dating. That's the F'ed up part...we liked eachother but because we were living long distance (3 hrs away), she never committed to me because I wouldn't be able to see her anytime she wanted me to. :/
