Legend of winning proved most of these youtubers a bunch of warriors bandwagon😂😂 mans said he made his RU-vid channel at 2016 which most of these RU-vidrs that cover basketball did too that same year😂😂 eating off the warriors success💯
the 2012-2013 clippers were so sad..blake and dj were a trainwreck vs the grizzlies that series....dj avg. 3 ppg in 24 minutes blake avg. under 14...it was a joke...
Kawhi and Paul George scored ZERO points in 4th qtr of game 7 and blew a huge lead in game 5. That is arguably the biggest choke by a pair of stars ever.
@@Luka-st4uf2020 is probably the bigger failure. The clippers were one of the most heavily favored teams to win the title and were super hyped up by analysts and fans all year. They also blew double digit leads in all 3 closeout games against Denver making the choke even worse.
Jsmoove josh smith killed the clippers. He had so much potential. Can guard 1, 2, 3, 4 and some 5. Had good court vision. Can dribble, slash and dunk. The dumbass had to jack up shots like shit to ruin his career
I consider title contenders to be teams with expectations to at least make their conference finals . After all , you have to make your conference finals before you can even think about the NBA finals . And then sometimes you get a team that just gets all the lucky breaks go their way and sneak into a conference finals like the Portland Trailbrazers did last playoffs but I don't think many considered them true contenders . People always seem to forget that the playoffs is a whole new season and anything can happen . Any team that gets to the semi finals has a shot and it a lot of the times it comes down to seeding and lucky breaks with player injury status for any team . Theres many teams that won the title by getting lucky with the path they were blessed to get to make the finals and then theres many great teams that just couldnt catch a break what so ever. At the end of the day , it always boils down to who truly wants it more .
@@717jeezy Eh, there were many of those in the 90’s, or teams that had the talent to do so. It’s just they weren’t seen as Title Contenders back in the 90’s because it wasn’t based on expectations, it was based on if you had a chance at dethroning Jordan. Title Contenders aren’t based on talent, they’re based on if you have a shot at the actual title. There are many great teams like the Early 90’s Jazz or the Steve-Dirk-Finley Mavs that weren’t really considered title contenders because while they had the talent, they couldn’t get out of the west, and overlooked by teams like the Suns in the 90’s or Spurs/Lakers in the early 2000’s. Don’t worry bud, my comments are long monologues too.
That series against the clippers and that shot by chris paul still haunts me to this today. Spurs really blew it man. Edit: i dont remember that year's playoffs to have so many injuries damn.
To be fair that Spurs team was never 100% healthy that season. A chunk of their main role and star players were dealing with injuries at the start of the season or throughout the season. By the time they finally gelled and looked like themselves the Playoffs was literally less than a month away.
11:27 “If you look too far ahead, you might miss what’s right in front of you” Wow, LOW. You just summed up the 2020 Clippers disappointment PERFECTLY with that line 😂💀
I'm a die-hard Clippers fan and that Houston series still stings to this day if they made it past Houston they would have probably taken Golden State to 7 games in the conference finals
You barely beat the warriors in 14, with the warriors getting several injuries, before Green was a star level player, and before they had Kerr as a coach. The warriors would have torched the Clips in 2015.
@@broken75.20 If the NBA has taught me anything since 2015, is that Steph is CP3's Daddy. That warriors didn't lose a single game to the clippers in like 4 years
LOL this dude... "at this point of his career Harden was giving laughable effort on the defensive end"... his WHOLE ENTIRE CAREER has been like that.. lol
2012 2013 2014 2015 are all on him...this dude never showed up those years when he was healthy...the clippers should of made a conference finals...its absurd that they didn't with their talent losing to memphis and that rockets team
watched this series, i believe griffin had 22 something points in the 1st half, i went outside, went back to check on the game and rockets was winning tf. griffin probably went scoreless or scored a few i forgot. but dam, that was really a miss opportunity
I like this guy 👌 man you're good with your info very subtle yet extremely informative unlike others out there who leave out hella shit or don't include hella shit lol SUB BRO KEEP UP GOOD WORK
The Atlanta Hawks had 4 all stars, won 60 games, and made the conference finals that year, how can they not be considered title contenders if you're going to include the Wizards, Bulls, Trail Blazers, and Grizzlies?
Nolan Russell because if u put it in perspective, kyle korver and jeff teague are not allstars. especially kyle korver. they just got lucky since they on a 60 win team and back in 2015 the east was mad weak. the actual allstars u could make a case for is paul millsap and al horford. and lets be honest they aint better than the cavs or even the bulls back then.
i remember I loved this team so much, enough to get a CP3 jersey t-shirt and a Griffin jersey. I started watching the season right before they got CP3 and for like 6 years they were just so much damn fun to watch.... ...until the inevitable collapse that would come in the playoffs every year. Knew this video was going to be a tough watch, but yeah, you're right - they consistently underperformed for just how deep this team was.
Bro soon as i saw this thumbnail I INSTANTLY thought of josh smith😂 he single handily brought the rockets back in tht one game i almost fell asleep back wen it happened
That Clippers team blew a 3-1 lead to the Rockets in the second round of the playoffs. They had a legit chance to win the chip that year because the Warriors weren't as dominant as we knew them later on, and the Cavs were injury riddled .
The warriors still had the clippers number and went 7 with them the previous year without bogut or Festus. And the Cavs were injury riddled but the warriors were injury riddled the very next year. Yet we don’t take away from what they achieved. In addition the dubs won 67 games that year and were the best offense and defense in the league.
Koh Smoger don’t compare injuries between those two years. Cavs lost kyrie and K Love that is not the same as Andrew bogut. A 73-9 team with the first ever unanimous mvp should not rely on Andrew bogut to beat a massive underdog. They choked, Cavs were legitimately crippled
I missed this series, since I was watching the Memphis/Golden State series. It's sad that a team with 3 all nba players never got to the conference finals.
Memphis started out so strong in that series then all the sudden looked like they were tanking. That was one of the more peculiar series ive seen in a long time. No way the nba would have let memphis beat GS that year and sadly cuz that was memphis best season, or at least one of the top 2 or 3
I think the main problem with that team from what I saw, was the fact that cp did not allow Blake to become the true number one scoring option. He also did not allow blake to take alot more of the ball handling responsibilit y away from him, to make it easier on himself. Cp3 should've played a lot more off ball. Blake had more gravity on offense as a whole.
I actually had a lot of hopes for this team, but ultimately, didn't get it done. But no one could do Lob City like they could. Also, the Logo was way better back then.
As an OG warriors fan, I remember being a little worried about facing this team after we finished with the 1 Seed. Even though we won the regular season series that year, I was worried the Clippers would possibly figure it all out in the playoffs. Thank god they didnt, cause Dubs Dynasty and CP3s ego would've been unbearable.
You know what's crazy is that ppl used talk shit about my Raptors before we won the championship but never talked shit about how many times the clippers choked in the playoffs when they had chris, blake, and jordan that's crazy
@@babyshak98 Niqqa are u dumb? Everybody talked about the Raptors before we got Kawhi saying oh we dont show up in the playoffs even we made it to the eastern conference finals before Kawhi came to the team.
Lmao your Raptors never dealt with injuries like the clippers did in the playoffs, they just kept being owned by Lebron but of course you left that part out tho, good thing Lebron moved west right lol
Along with 2014 in 2015 clippers had a chance to win and actually become contenders but they choked aganist the rockets when they were just one game away to reaching the WCF but just choked while they also suffered from injuries but couldnt win in the playoffs but what's even more worser is that the rockets had Josh Smith and cory brewer ariza started touching them in game 6 while their all star harden was struggling
@@redegg7653 It has to be the worst feeling in the world. Everything you worked for to play in the NBA just ruined by something you can't prepare for or fight.
They had serious potential to be a really good team. In 2015 and 2016. If Bosh was healthy, I'd say they could've made the ECF in both those seasons. I'd take that healthy roster over anybody else in the East those seasons
@@kingdeedee the 2016 heat without bosh or hassan went to a game 7 with the raptors....I cant be the only one who remember that....that heat team when healthy was so good deep talented they had prime chris bosh dwyane wade hassan whiteside goran dragic luol deng all starting with tyler johnson justise winslow josh richardson joe johnson and udonis haslem as backups and then as 3rd stringers they had josh mcroberts and gerald green plus as a 13th man in a suit they would of had amare stoudamire in case he was needed but because bosh was hurt they played amare...this was a really talented heat team in the east that year without bosh like with him they could of made the finals...2015 we will never know but with love hurt and kyrie banged up that heat team could of won the east too if healthy and they may have beaten the warriors
That 2015 year was disappointing as a bulls fan too. One missed call was the difference between being up 3-1 over the Cavs and the series being tied 2-2 and being eliminated. A time out being called when the Cavs didn’t have one🤦🏽♂️Should’ve been a tech and our ball, instead a LeBron game winner. We would’ve beat the hawks and we split with the warriors that year, we would’ve been their hardest and if Kyrie/Klove-less Cavs pushes them to 6 we would’ve had a good chance...
People also forget that despite dominating the regular season and first round, the warriors were very scratchy from the memphis series onwards. They went 2-1 down to memphis, Then nearly lost home court to the rockets in the wcf and then weren't that convincing in the finals against the cavs without love and kyrie. The clippers were the inform team of the playoffs when they went 3-1 up against houston and if they had maintained that form probably would have beaten the warriors
That game 7 against the Spurs In the first round that was Chris Paul's best game ever and that shot his career defining shot and is the most clutch moment in franchise history
