YES! JUST KEEP GOING! I'm on level 3 of Meta Omni and have seen DRASTIC results! At one point, level 2 felt like it was taking forever for me to complete but I stuck with it! And on day 2 of Level 3 I noticed my ABS! I'm turning 40 in 2 months and am actually looking forward to it! I was so unhappy and frustrated with my previous workout. I'm just mad I didn't become consistent with TAM sooner! Thank you for your videos Rachel! You really inspired me to start over and stay consistent this time!

I once did an entire month of sticking to my plan. My plan was to do the program as designed without adding or subtracting anything. I wanted to see how I would feel at the end if I could avoid those hormonal slums. What I learned is I create my experience. I missed zero days. I did both parts and I ate handcrafted meals by me. Oddly enough I had almost no bumps in the road. Ordinarily I take off one day during my cycle and one to two days a week. I found doing it as designed made the Method easier. Ease from workout to workout. Ease in performing. Ease in all areas of my life. Those happy hormones you get from Dance Cardio made me resilient to anything that ordinarily disempowered me. I learned that my excuse during my cycle other times throughout the week were not for my immediate or long term benefit. I felt better after my workout. There are many ways to anticipate breakdowns and get out of head of them. I made sure have things in place in event of a breakdown. Murthy’s Law. It’s good to check in see how we are feeling and sometimes I find that feelings are habitual so why not create a habit of feeling marvelous all the time. Once you’ve gather enough data on yourself try it see how much of your cycle is dictated verse you dictate your cycle. I have one last passing thought about how we feel about ourselves and what I would call self-consciousness “Mirror Work”. “Mirror work” is all about dissolving any barriers between you and you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VZFcN5qB8yM.html&feature=share

Yes!!!!! Something else I remind myself which helps is going slow and steady with weight loss is much better and much more lasting the rapid weight loss.

Thanks for the encouragement Rachel! So true about checking in with yourself before jumping ship! Hormones really do have an influence on how you feel internally and externally but we can’t be led by our feelings! We’ve just got to keep going! I started doing salsa after my mat workout! Just completed the first week of meta, not sure if it was from your videos or someone else that I discovered this but having a gardener’s pad for my knees was a lifesaver for the mat work, no way I could continue doing this otherwise!!

I started metamorphosis and could not keep going. I felt bored, during the work out didn’t feel encouraged, and spent time contemplating “maybe I should just go to an actual Pilates class instead” instead of actually doing a workout. The book said do her program exactly and… that just put perfection in my head. So now, I am doing her 10/15 minute TA on RU-vid and I so far, I am liking that better.

Sometimes it feels most productive to simplify and do what is reasonable! That is exactly why I went back to Meta. Reminds me of a saying "The only bad workout is the one you didn't do!" 15 min, 30 min, whatever makes you feel great! Glad you are finding your groove ❤️

I love your videos!! I am doing metamorphosis and it’s been a game changer in my joints. I had hip tightness and just a feeling of a bit so healthy spine. I feel amazing. I’m on level 3. I have to keep going.

Tanya Ann... did you use ankle weights with metamorphosis? I have started any of TA's workouts yet. I am still researching this since this is the first time that I have ever heard of it.

Thanks so much for your videos! I finished 90 days of meta omni and am streaming for 2 weeks just to try it out. I must say while I love the music change up, I think I actually prefer the 30 minute defined muscular structure of metamorphosis. I enjoy the streamed classes but find I’m reluctant to log on because the class I tried is actually an hour. Now I have to figure out if I can budget the entire continuity series at once or pay by month.

Hey Valerie! I’m so with you, as much of an upgrade as online studio is - nothing beats the 30 min to get the mat class done! It’s a lot of cash to cough up at once, but broken down over 3.25 years it will be well worth it!

i love how you use the journal to track "metrics". i think it's great. i journal, but I don't 5 minute journal. i may add it... Please do a video about he holistic doc and acne. I struggle and I have never struggled with this before kids. I have no idea what's going on. As for my results...Ga! I'm stuck. So stuck. My size and weight isn't moving. But, I keep telling myself "my body is my friend" and honestly it helps me think more nicely about what I do for my body, what my body does for me, and I try to do "friendly" things like not eat chips or pretzels instead of veg and hummus. Can I just ask an obvious question? How are you not a TAM goddess? 'Cause I think you are!

I think after getting into the habit of doing the 5 Minute I may go back to traditional journaling - it has really helped me build the habit. But since you are already journaling - you probably don't need it! Soooo true. Just keep going. If there's a weekly workout that throws me off I have such a hard time going back, yet when I do I always question myself like what was that all about? Sometimes the brain just needs to catch up I guess. Emphasizing the moves...yes! Although if I'm not careful that lands me in another round of PT 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 btw ..Amber Heard outfit 😂 love it

Melissa - it’s always a treat to hear from you. Some workouts throw me off, too. Can’t help but think my way of resistance is complete defiance. Also, I’m constantly reminding myself to emphasize the moves - some days I’m far better than others.

What an accomplishment to complete those programs. I cannot begin to wrap my mind about how challenging continuity must be! When I did online studio I used ankle weights, but with Meta I have not, yet. Did you use ankle weights for meta?

I don’t know what physique you’re trying to get but have you considered that maybe you are at a new plateau with TAM? Have you considered changing things up to get to a new level? And would you consider medical intervention to help create the body you want? Because I am totally doing Emsculpt Neo when I have the $$ 😋

I think that’s a great plan! If there is any advice I love to give everyone its to be very intentional about the moves. Act as if there is resistance you are pushing against. And as much as we ALL love looking better, take notice of how your body feels after the two weeks. If you have any questions we are all here for you!

So I am starting to look into TAM and what I see mentioned often is you are supposed to do these workouts 5 times a week, ideal would be even every day? This feels very discouraging, I would be happy to find time and peace for working out 2-3 times a week. Does it even make sense to start TAM when people like you who as it sounds are doing it >5 times are asking themselves whether it leads to somewhere. Is >5 times a week a must to make it work?

I completely understand where you are coming from. For most people, it isn't realistic to workout that much. I know that some people have commented on these videos sharing that they sprinkle in Tracy a few times a week and do other things in addition to it on those off days - typically walking.

Hi Rachel, I've been watching your videos from the beginning. I've been streaming for 2 years and did meta and Conti several years ago. I feel bad that you get so frustrated with TAM. I think you put too much pressure on yourself instead of letting go and doing what feels best. I love TAM, but I follow the schedule my body needs. Morning/Evening Reach every day before workout, IMC 3x a week, Standing Sequence and DC (advanced as I love combos) on day 4, and day 5 is an easy ab toner and maybe low impact dance. I love the variety of streaming and like utilizing the electives. Maybe try having a more flexible plan, versus the strictness of META or doing IMC 6x a week - they can be mentally straining. I know I could not handle follow the prescription to a T. I have found a lot of balance with my current schedule, and of course results!

Also taking a page from your book and really tuning into my bodies needs. For instance, this week, I havent done ANY dance cardio - and can tell its what i need. That is one of the things I miss about online studio is all of the options available.

Rachel, YOU LOOK AMAZIIIIIING..really I hope my body starts shaping up like yours! so how many day are you doing dance cardio without feeling burn out? I am trying to do 3 to 4 days a week but am trying to keep with the ma class 6 day s a weeks, but I feel like I wont get the results I want if I do. not do dance cardio even for 15 min 6 days a week. any advice?

I tell you what. There are some weeks where, like you, I am doing DC 3-4 times a week,, (thats my sweet spot for not feeling burned out - but the burnout is still inevitable for me 😂) then weeks like this week i didn't do ANY dance cardio. But I have continued to do the mat workout everyday. Instead of DC, I have been opting for more walking. But this week there were days I didn't do much of that either. I find the benefit of me backing off of dance cardio is that I am better able to intuitively eat. I am not as hungry and i am not as stressed about getting a workout in. That in itself seems to help a lot. And then I reach weeks, where i am feeling ambitious and seeking endorphins and doing dance cardio often suddenly seems reasonable. That whole ramble was to let you know where I am at and what I do - finding room to be flexible makes the whole journey more enjoyable. One last point, which is actually a topic of a video today. You may be surprised to realize that you ARE getting results - you just may not see them! Clearly you are doing the work! Always great to hear from you and I hope you have a fabulous week ❤️

Hey! There is one listed in her book called The 30 Day Method, but I don’t follow it at all. I have adopted intermittent fasting which I love. There are a few videos I have for “what I eat in a day” which may be helpful. In a nutshell, I try to eat ONLY when I’m hungry and eat what actually makes me satisfied. For too many years, I followed strict diets and ALWAYS fell into binging. Which is why I don’t diet in the traditional sense.
