These below outcomes now attributed to the procedure electroshock in my medical records. This is information from another provider I brought with me to this neuro/opthomologist noted below. I was told ECT was safe. I live with these damages as so many others do to one degree or another. This is TBI. This is full body trauma from an electrical mechanism, with damages that can evolve years out to include CTE. I was recently seen by a provider (neuro/opthomologist) who said I had “convergence insufficiency” and would not even address or put in his own notes this mechanism for fear of reprisals by peers most likely. I was discounted, minimized, bullied, and treated very poorly by this neuro/ophthomologist who in no way wanted to let the cat out of the bag, no matter how it impacted me as the patient. When I asked him to address the damages and causation that would assist me with rehabilitative measures he minimized and discounted these obvious outcomes so he would not have to make a stand in his notes to this very apparent harm taking place. We deserve help and kindness in our compromised state. Not to be subjugated to further abuse after what we have already been through with “trusted” providers. We are PTSD survivors as a result and this is not any way to treat a patient. At end of this appointment that got very heated, I was left with no help from him and asked to leave. This is no way to treat an individual. I was never disrespectful, but also knew the issues involved and did not let him "off the hook." Did not check me for nystagmus nor visual fields which he would have most likely found abnormal, to avoid addressing most likely. Electroshock patients are going to start to see various providers for assistance and I ask that we be met with compassion despite the reputations and monies involved. Problem is everyone seems to have monetary or employment/position gains to be made if they keep the lid on this no matter how many are hurt. Please remember you are healers for the good of your patient. We are greatly suffering while you all pretend otherwise. California courts have proved brain injuries you are already well aware of based on your training. No advanced tests were done outside of a very basic optho exam my primary did, and no imaging or rehabilitative services. Don't test, don't have to worry about addressing damages and causes in notes. That is very helpful. However, as you may know, most people actually hate going to the doctor. Whether it's fear of needles or just not wanting to make an appointment only to have to wait 2 hours in a waiting room with other sick people spewing their germs, most people would rather do anything else. I would find it very helpful if you could do a video about how to either persuade a friend or loved one who needs to see a doctor or how to motivate yourself when you know you should go and don't want to.

Ok, so uneven ground? Tell me a little about your normal workouts or running regimen...Do you stretch regularly? Before or after you run?
@sakthik
@sakthik 6 лет назад
Denise Lopez ATC I think that could be problem, I didn’t do any stretching before run, sharp pain on both lower part of the back started within 5 mins of run. I stopped for few mins, pain reduced and I continued doing same testing pattern for entire run. I did do post run stretching though, but after the run pain was lingering only on the left lower back. BTW, I am a software developer that means 6-8hrs sitting job. Could be that my hip flexes and back are not strong enough ?

Hi Denise, can I get some advise. I have developed, lower back pain 2 weeks before a hill marathon. Will i recover from this pain in next 10 days? Will i be able to participate in the Hill half marathon. I understand the reason is tight hip flexors, lac of core exercises, desk job for 9 hrs. At this moment my concern is recovery from this pain asap. Should I stop running / long-walks completely till pain is gone?

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your back pain, I know a lot of training goes into a Marathon. I would suggest to start icing your back everyday if you haven't been already. Also, try to incorporate a few "active rest" days, meaning instead of running, try a light biking or swimming workout, to rest your body from the running/training. Also, have you been stretching everyday? Make sure you are really taking time to stretch your legs and back each day or use a foam roller to roll out those areas that are tight. Maybe even go get a massage? That could help loosen tight muscles. You will probably have to push through some pain in order to finish your race, afterwards take a good amount of time to rest and recover. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello, I was wondering what I could do if everytime I run, the muscles on my right shoulder start to burn, where as I don't experience that with my left side? Im unsure of it has to do with trigger points but i believe i have a lot on both.
@lularoedeniselopez7619
@lularoedeniselopez7619 6 лет назад
Hi! Yes, it sounds like you have a lot of tightness going on on that right side. Something that could help is doing some postural exercises before you go out running. Find a exercise tubing/band and start to do upright standing rows. Those are great for both strengthening and stretching through your upper back and shoulders. You probably need to start stretching your neck muscles as well as your shoulders. They all attach through the shoulder blade, so that could be your issue, tightness through that area. If you can, go see a massage or physical therapist. They can help figure out what's going on as well. For now, you may have to shorten the amount of time your running, until you can get your postural muscles strengthened. Good luck!

Hi Denise, I've been a softball player for bout 5 years, and during when I was running during try outs, my leg suddenly went out on me and couldn't move it at all. The next day it was fine, but it then happened again. It's almost like a cycle and I can't control it. It's been going on for about a week or so after tryouts. Do you have an idea about whats going on? Thanks!
