Hi, I work for South Korean broadcast company tvN. we would like to use your video on our history show. Could you please let me know if we could use an excerpt from it giving the credit to your channel? Thanks :)
Excellent question, Louise. I think it is primarily to wipe the water off the wet paper. The paper soaks up the paint quite quickly, so there isn't a need to press it. :)
Titi die last year ??? …ohhhh Soo sad the most beautiful little doggy on the world soo cute soo blessed Titi bello where ever you are Heaven Absolutely for sure you are there with God we will love you for Ever TITI 😢🌈🌈🌈🌈🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🐶
No way! This is Luigj Fjerza, a musician from Shkodra who was part of an album produced by myself and a team of producers. He mostly played the guitar on the album but can play so many instruments and is a real kind soul. The album is called Like Nightingales in the Spring by Orkestra Shkodra and is available on all streaming platforms if you want to hear.
Awesome! Comments like this inspire me to produce more videos. :) I found the album on Spotify! The music conjures warm feelings of the Balkans and a desire to return. It is a magical corner of the world. It has been many years since we met Luigi in Shkodra. We hope he is doing well. Thank you for the uplifting comment, Peadar! Wishing you all the best.
This artwork is centuries old art. So much beauty is moulded into it. The final product can be auctioned for much more than you imagine. In india, it is being practiced in south of india only in odisha and telangana state. Of cuttack and karimnagar state. And it is hand made just like the gentleman is working on. It has achieved a GI tag and need of a UNESCO heritage certificate for its uniqueness and rarity.
Hi Karthik! Tricia and I have only been to Kerala in the south of India. We look forward to getting back. When we do, we'll have to stop by and visit Odisha and Telangana to see the local filigree in action. Thanks for the comment! :)

Glad you liked it Christian! We enjoyed watching the process. Old books are certainly a treasure, especially if it has marbled paper inside. Hope all is well with you! Thank you for the comment. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Christian! Marbled paper certainly gives a book a distinguished look. Tricia is researching kits that we can use at home to make it! Although, nothing quite compares to seeing in made in Florence. Thank you for the comment! :)

I discovered this art form on our trip to Florence in 1991. I don’t recall if it was the Scarpelli shop, but it was a shop near the main museum, just across the way. The artist was a young man. The prices weren’t inexpensive back then, but you’re buying old world craftsmanship. I can only imagine what it costs today, 31 years later. Timeless masterpiece works. 🇮🇹 Viva Italia ! ✊🏼👍🏼
Hi Rikk! Glad this video brought back memories of Florence. This old world craftsmanship is indeed something special. I wouldn't be surprised if that young man was Renzo! Thank you for the comment. :)
Thank you! We enjoyed learning about this incredible art. It is our pleasure to share what we learned! We look forward to getting back to Florence to see you all. :)

The song is called "Picket Fences." It was available for purchase a few years ago on JewelBeat. However, they seem to have gone out of business. Hope that helps! 😀
