My Kenmore older frig has the compressor on and the fan running, but the fan is running very slowly. How fast do these fans run? Mine is running where you honestly can't feel a breeze blowing on the compressor/condenser unit...Thanks. Thanks in advance for your advice. Phil
Hello, The fan in my fridge stops when the PCB tells it to, but doesn’t restart on its own, but if you spin it by hand it starts to run again, when it does stop I can feel the motor running, but fan doesn’t spin, is there anything I can do or is it a case of replacing the fan and motor. Thanks
Mine stopped working it was a clogged water supply line. It is one of those pierce the water pipe ones. I took a small alan wrench and reamed the hole out and there is water going to the ice maker again!
I had Ice all around those thermostat wires and even that bronze pipe or whatever that is and when i tried removing all that Ice I then started hearing some sort of hissing noise that sounded like air was being released, is this a bad sign of something? It wont stop making that noise and its been about 10mins. Please help!
what is that "other issue " you mention......my fan and my compressor motor do absolutely nothing.....even after replacing that $130$ relay and start capacitor.
Is that thermostat you have crossing on top of that heat element? I viewed the heat element & nothing was broken. I could not get the post from the thermostat off of the post of the heat element, it would not come off. So I tested while it was connected and thermostat worked but heat element made no reading, but it was still connected to the thermostat that was working
Good video ,Testing for 120-230 Volt AC at Heater disconnect connector with defrost timer in manual is a good final test to determine the heater ohm /continuity test is correct, As often these videos are for DIY people and caution required when doing 120-240 v tests . If a correct voltage is found at the female side of the disconnect connector and the heater is then plugged back in it should feel warm /hot to touch ,Cold and heater is definitely shot
This highlights the common issues of the condenser fan NOT running, when the compressor IS running i took too much to heart his comment that "normally" if such is the case, the fan is bad. When the new replacement motor arrived, it too failed to run. I skipped the test he showed about checking if you have 120 v power to the fan. My, after the fact, test showed it did not! I am now having to return the new motor and study why we have no power to the fan.
At 1:03, the flexible pipe you blow into - what does it connect to at the other end (ie st the top of the unit out of shot)? Mine seems to have become detached from the top connection and has now fallen down so it’s horizontal With the floor? I can’t see where it connected to? It’s weeping a small amount of water.
My ice maker just now stopped making ice after 12 years. The ice maker test shows gear turning and fingers rotating. I have 244 OHMS coming from valve coil, but no water going into the tray. My question is it not the ice maker that tell the coil to open to let water in?
I also appreciate your video. I'm going to check my thermostat real soon to see if that little thing is popped up. Darn it's always something going wrong. Thanks Keith
Hi, the voltage came 360 V due to double phasing from pole to house by govt labour and refrigerator blasted. Now fridge starting but I'm getting clicking sound 2 times(with 2 sec gap) and again 2 clicks(with 3 mins gap). Is it relay problem?
My Samsung inverter makes circuit breaker of the house go off as soon as the compressor starts. Lately the compressor has been making noise. No short between windings and the ground 11.7ohms between each winding. Do you have any suggestions?
Been trying to remove the cover on the starter relay of my Daewoo mini fridge but its kind of a bear. Its as if its held together by a screw on the inside or something Even tried prying the cover off with a tough flathead screw driver but nothing.
My gas dryer heats only for the first 5 minutes and cold air comes out from it after that. For the 3 prongs coil, 1&2 works, 1&3 works but not 2&3, it's O.L. Is this normal?

1:27 - Before you jump (pun intended) for joy if you didn't get a tone on any of the terminals here, make certain you scratched off enough of the paint to make a good case connection by touching both probes to to the case at the same time and listen for the tone.
*I bought this earlier this month-->**allmy.tips/lgSteamXWasher?a64 ** When we moved we left our old set (red) behind at the old house. I've been using and old agitator style washer and a dinosaur dryer with two settings. When I used these new LG's for the first time I was reminded just how much I LOVED them. The newer features make laundry day enjoyable*
