We are Matteo + Micha! Join us as we explore all 20 regions of Italy on the Ultimate Italian Road Trip! 🇮🇹
When we were in our early 20s and chasing our own dreams of living in Europe, we met one night at a pub in Florence...11 months later, we were married! Having been together for 6 years now, we have lived & worked on 3 different continents & even on a cruise ship!
We have moved to Italy to live out one of our biggest dreams - pulling off the Ultimate Italian Road Trip, traveling to all 20 regions of Italy & showcasing the incredible diversity all of them have to offer - from the history, architecture, art, culture, food, traditions and everything in between!
Our adventure through Italy is being done in true Italian style, slow and relaxed, in order to truly cover everything while enjoying all the beautiful moments along the way!

I'm a first generation Welsh-Italian and just got back to the UK after visiting family in Sicily. You've nailed all the same things I'd bring up. Remember, Italians do only two things quickly... Drive, and talk. That's it.
Hello M&M I have been watching your channel lately during the day and I like the way you described the places you visit. I have visited Italy a lot but not like you have.but never about Puccini. When is cinque Terre on your travels ? I
I was in Siena this week and wandering about.. I recognised the doorway with the flowers.. and yes, it was this place. Yay! I had a panini.. probably similar to the one you had. So good!! Parmesan fully exploding from the creamy suppressa, I went back to get one for dinner. Gino said most of them should be eaten warm but he made one he said was good to eat cold with sausage, some kind of mayo/spices/mushrooms.. and yes it was wonderful too! thanks for the vid!
i cant wait to the day i move to italy and find a beauiful wife to marry with a big big big fam ily and sunday whole family eats at grandmas houses .. lol vida italy
I love your videos. I may be getting stationed in Italy so I wanted to get a feel for the area by following along with you ... Thanks for such great content.

The biggest culture shock for Americans is that America us really not that Great after all. And us barely FREE at all, much less the FREE-EST. ON THE GLOBAL FREEDOM INDEX, USA comes in at Number 17, below Canada, Australia, New Zealand #2, Switzerland #1, between Japan & United Kingdom
We visited last year in Sep and had lunch at Gusta Pizza, loved it. Great options available for vegetarians as well - totally recommended! 😍 Need to try the Gelato next time 😋🙌🏼
are there technically differences between the term "expat" and "immigrant"? Yes. Do I think wealthier-to-do people who are privileged and can move around the world easily use this term and argue about semantics because the optics of being called an "immigrant" feels worse. Also yes. Lol shut up. Y'all are better off (than those that cant afford to travel like you) part time immigrants.
Waiting in Florence for my train to Rome. So far an hour late…. My experience with the trains in Italy has been challenging. It’s kinda like flying Spirit Airlines, you will eventually get there but you are never sure when?
Cantania is a dirty unkept city and so disappointing. It’s like it’s stuck in the 1970’s. Stick to mainland Italy and don’t waste your time or money here.
Hi guys! Miss you! Question: Which video was it when you didn't validate your train ticket in your phone before the train departed and you had to validate it on the next scheduled train? Or maybe please just explain what you did as the workaround. Also, I just read something that said only regional tickets had to be validated. Is that right? TIA
