The problem with china is their lack of soft power, they don't have a very influential culture when taking their size into consideration, lots of people learn Japanese even though it not nearly is widely spoken is Chinese but Japanese culture is much more influential

I feel like the most extensive make or break for an accent is the vocabulary, but It isn't easy, and I find it such a grow-up and learn kind of thing; I find it really hard to switch from aluminium to aluminum even though I use the Cali American accent XD and people find it so strange XD

Around 10:48 you pronounced RU-vid like "yoo-toob", but wouldn't it be pronounced "yoo-choob" in RP? Though I guess the founders of RU-vid would pronounce it your way. Brand names are debatable.

Not all input is comprehensible. Infact most is not. I laugh when youtubers say go waatch Tv and read lot of books for comprehensible input. It is only comprehensible if you understand the message. Real comprehensible input requires a lot of curation and creation of scaffolding devices - eg easy to follow pictures, translation of abstract concepts, lots of repetition of grammatical structures appropriate for the learners level etc Only when you have 90% plus mastery of a language content in a text or TV show can you start inferring meanings of new words from context.
