Ačiū jums labai! Dauguma mūsų liaudies dainų, kurias pavyksta rasti yra sudainuotos moterų, labai retai vyrų. Ačiū jums už mūsų šaknų puoselėjimą. Bučkiai visiems ❤
Instead of licking our shoes out of fear of Russia, you'd better start treating our compatriots from the Vilnius region better... Those Lithuanians were Belarusians, you are only Samogitians.
In Poland anti-Soviet partisans were also present. Furthermore, one of them was my great-grandfather. I feel the meaning of that song, even if I don't know Lithuanian language (not much at least). May no one hurt us anymore🇵🇱💖🇱🇹
@@Knight_of_Poland We are not, and Balto-Slavic is one of the theories on language branch and it does not reflect genetics nor culture. The only brothers of Lithuanians are Latvians! (genetically estonians could be considered also)
I really like this song, I am also glad that you included English lyrics in the description because I was able to understand the meaning behind this song. Greetings from the Czech republic🇨🇿!
My great grandfather was from Lithuania. Wish he would have taught our family Lithuanian. A small percent of my blood is Lithuanian but I look like that side of the family. I’m sad to only know English. Love LOTR and this is awesome! You guys are great!
It is a pity that the ancient culture of Lithuanians and other Baltic countries (Poles, Latvians, Estonians) is suppressed because of politicians (especially Germans). No one wants to hear about it... And before the Roman Empire was created, one of the centers of civilization was right next to the Baltic.

Im a lifelong english speaker of largely British ancestry, and hearing these songs gives me goose bumps. Theres something ethereal to these chants. Something deep and eternal that words cannot explain, something that used to be a part of greater Europe but is now very rare and hard to find but seems to be exhibited just under the surface in the folk of Lithuania, and it touches my heart deeply.
Greetings from your northern brothers, i really like this song even though i understand maybe like half of the words. Just the rythmic singing sounds so good!
I love this music and I love this channel. Glory to our brave and noble forefathers who sacrificed so much for us today. God Bless our homeland, keep it safe and free. Amen
