Also, what length barrel are u using? And sbr's need tweaking with gas systems... u should at least have come across information dictating that much...
In over 20 years of AR and standard 30 round ownership, not once has anyone asked about them. Every AR I own is illegal in the eyes on Cali. Never had an issue...
I'm so glad I bought my first rifle while I was stationed in South Carolina, the jack shit that I knew at the time would have landed me in prison for sure. Looking back, I was for sure a candidate for throwing a stock on a pistol without knowing better. I remember looking at an AR pistol and asking why it didn't have a stock and just being told it didn't come with one.
It's not even state of the art, there are a lot of 1911s that aren't on the roster because they either had a temporary pause in production, or a manufacturer just didn't submit the design before the LCI/micro stamp/mag disconnect requirement, but RIA continues to produce 70 series style 1911s on the roster.
Soo just to out it out there, im no affiliate of bca, have never been givin anything from them, know none of them, have never even spoke with any of them. Ive spent money on uppers from them over say the past 4 years or so, that bein said, im also a tinkerer. Normally when i buy one a strip it down and reinstall everything to spec and use loktite on all screws. I can tell you this, theyre over gassed, easiest way to help that and reliability is to go to an h3 buffer or an extra heavy buffer and spring if youre runnin rifle length. 1 thing i will say is you probably couldnt of picked a worse combo, period. A 7.5 inch arp in 7.62...... really? 7.62x39 has notoriously always had issues across the board in an ar platform for years, no matter the brand. I could care less what anyone has to say about that, its just true. You had some bad luck it seems, personally my experiences have been great, but i also take the time when i get one to make everything in spec and locked down. Ive had probably 6 or 7 uppers from them ranging from 16 inch to 24 inch heavy barrel. Ive had several in 5.56, a few in 450 bushmaster and even a 50 Beowulf. All mine are mostly hunting rifles and range toys but the only one ive ever really had issues with was the 50 beowolf. It was a gen 1 side charger and well it was a 50 Beowulf.... which also has never really been know for stellar reliability if anyone has ever messed with them. Collectively, ive probably shot... mmmmm.... 2k to 3k rounds between them all. No thats not alot for that amount of uppers but like ive stated, theyre mostly all setup to hunt with. Ive never had to replace a firing pin or any other parts. I have no reason to lie to people about that either, ive seen 4k rifles shit the bed where 700 dollar rigs ran till the gas tube popped. Not gonna defend any company but theyre really not bad and ive had extremely good results with mine from accuracy and reliability standpoints. Im also not gonna get in debates about my experiences with anyone that comments if anyone reads this far.
If this thing starts to run right, it's a good value at the price point. But as I said on the CMMG BR4, this year's splurge is going to a more proven featureless build. However, I really want these to work at affordable price points. If SCOTUS hears the 4th Circus case next year we might be two years out from rifle freedom, but even after that, I like the more traditional form factor as well.

Today I received a letter from the DOJ about a firearm purchase delay. Stating the “Department has identified state and or federal records matching your identifying information or a stolen firearm record that if confirmed would prohibit the purchase” they say it could be wrong and my information may be similar to someone elses but they are required to make its determination within 30 calendar days. They are clearly wrong and I have no criminal history whatsoever. I have about 3 more weeks of waiting left 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 To California
Look as much as we dislike, disagree, and think is bs what the governments tell us what we can and cant have. Walking the edge and playing with fire with the government and posting it all over the internet isnt a smart thing. Hope he can beat his case tho, but he definitely advertised selling something and explained something by blurring the lines they arent playing with him they want to make an example out of him like they did with fps russia with a little bit of weed.
People just love to shill for what they own. I dont get it. I own a Taurus G3c and a Ruger Max 9. They run well but id never argue and say that they are better than a pistol like a Sig or M&P.
