Brother in your videos about Steven Universe you give zero objective critiques. Talk about continuity errors, how scenes are handled bad, how from a technical standpoint it's a mess (basic examples of issues that usually a show can have) idk but please stop with the subjective bs and explain your thesis. it doesn't make any sense and it doesn't make you look mature about it. Imo steven's a really cool show but i'd like to be proven wrong if you talk in a perspective that explains the flaws that the show (in this case the film) has. For example in the beginning you talk about how the animation is bad and you put on the screen in-between frames of a characters that moves silly, like, ....it's made on purpose....

Not to say this video was never spitting facts about the state of the company with fanboys still coping, after their golden era from the early 2000s to mid 2010s, but this video has aged even more like a fine wine today. An absolute gem and sums up the state of a company and a fan base in their declining era. This and the Phil Fish video should be shown to any RU-vidr before they start up their channels. I'm happy to see you weren't afraid about calling out the horrendous practices, controversies, etc. surrounding stuff like what his ex-fiancé did too. hbomberguy went way too soft on the show and Rooster Teeth just to save face and professionalism, which I totally understand and he did it in a great way still while giving good constructive criticism, but SOMEONE still needed to point out those things brutally in a video, especially with the brand and show having little to no hope of ever being good, so I'm glad you weren't afraid of doing so for us. I seriously don't understand how anyone can defend anything about this show outside of the fight scenes inspired by Monty's previous work. Everything else in every single area, from the animation and voice acting to the writing and story or even the first two minute introduction, is a case study of how to do everything wrong that they taught everyone back in middle school, right next to teaching them how not to plagiarize things. I've seen Roblox Machinimas with better animation, art design, production design, writing, voice acting, stories, etc. than this. I was originally going to make a joke saying that SFM adult parodies and fake ads of it are likely better animated than the actual show, but that would probably be an insult towards anyone on the planet who actually makes SFM adult parodies and fake ads. The show did improve in areas, but from like a 0/10 show to a 2/10 show, while getting worse and losing logic in more areas.
