Hello, Do you know how strict Lufthansa is with carry-on & personal item bags? More specifically, it looks like the personal item is 4 inches? Is that correct? Most others are 6 or more. Trying to do carry-on only trip, but that might be a problem. Just trying to clarify. We have Air Canada from Toronto to Ireland but Lufthansa back.
Luckily, I’ve been able to compress this into a small pack, but as a medical professional, I have learned to take a blood pressure cuff with stethoscope/quick scan thermometer /pulse oximeter with me when I travel, particularly on airlines because invariably, there is a medical emergency of some sort, and it just makes my life easier to have some equipment that I have on hand to get some basic vital signs. I also make sure I have my national provider identification number stored for quick access on my phone.
Used one of the tray covers on my recent trip from Phoenix to Charlotte …. It was perfect. It fit my phone, ear pods when not in use, kindle, and my tablet. So glad I got one.
It's very difficult to purchase a bag that meets all the requirements, especially when the bag's case dimensions are shown, but don't include handles and wheels, the very things that can cause you to not fit in a sizer.
The ONLY time this should NOT be enforced is. When A person IS Moving. State. Continent Country County. One Should then be allowed slightly more Luggage but Pay! I experienced this. With Life Long possessions I did Pay✅ They will have proof. In one’s Documentation✅
So lucky to be from Canada. Last month I bought a direct return (no stops) ticket going from San Jose Costa Rica SJO to Toronto YYZ and Return fof 288 each way seat choice included with 1 free bag and the second bag free because I’m a Veteran plus 1 free carry on. Remember the USA to dollar is 30% currently so deduct 30% if you’re in USA. What a really great deal.
We always travel with one checked bag and a carryon. Recently we changed the carryon to the “underseat” style to avoid the fight for overhead bin space. This was foiled on our last flight due to the underseat space being blocked by some kind of electrical box, so we ended up having to remove critical items from the bag and try to find overhead bin space after all🤦♀️
You never know when one of your bags is going to be taken out of carry-on status and tagged for the plans luggage hold. This is why you must of Apple Air Tags and put one in each piece of luggage and your back pack so you can eventually find it.
A nephew traveled extensively internationally with his job. He made a million miles with one airline. The additional benefits for this milestone are as great as I would have imagined.
A carry-on should always have toothbrush, toothpaste, pajamas, one change of clothes, toiletries for a shower. Any medications.. Pack as though airline will lose your checked baggage.
For international travels leaving SEA, they've always asked for battery banks to be removed and I've had my bag ran through again with the bank separated for another run.
Hi I live in the UK and have had 2 platypus bottles for well over 25 Years the same ones! I use them for Motorcycle camping. I didn't think they would last so long but they have and are still used a lot. Great channel by the way.
I think you missed the most obvious (or it should be obvious) suggestion -- make sure you don't have any weapons or ammunition in your carry-on. Last year, TSA confiscated almost 7,000 weapons. 200/day nationwide. If they find something, I can guarantee that you'll miss your flight.
This is all part of the UNs agenda 21/30, they are making it as tough as possible for regular people to travel, all these rules do not apply to the rich, EVs are the same thing, make it impossible to own your own transport, after a certain date all ICEs will be banned so you either purchase the over priced, useless, EV or you do not own your own vehicle, with no alternative, The new 15 minute cities, if you are not allowed to travel more than 15 minutes from home why do you need your own transportation? Just remember it is harder to control people if you cannot keep them in one place, So what is the point of making it difficult for people to move around? to control them. All these things are designed to come together, When?? 2030. cashless society, oh thats right they call it CBDC that is so that all your financial capability, becomes just numbers on someone else's computer to which you have no control, but the powers that be can control you. Wake up people, look where we are going and, STOP accepting this BS.
It`s about time that airlines besides low cost carriers are enforcing rules regards carry on luggage. Many times I have seen numerous people not only carrying a massive bag as carry on luggage with many also carrying large back packs. These people all scrabble to be first on board so they can take all the overhead lockers with their bags. Good make these people pay so eventually the penny may drop that they shouldn`t carry more bags as carry on baggage.
