iirc this one time was playing Explorers of Sky where i used Roar on an enemy Pokemon in a hallway which caused it to get blown back and slam into Kecleon in the next room (who i had no idea was even *in the way*). this caused it to become aggressive and start attacking me and i was lucky i even managed to get away from it
The fact Game Freak uses both 10000 - Speed AND 8192 overflow calculation in an age where games are taking up gigabytes of space anyway is truly an example of workarounds that should have been fixed a decade ago.
Don't get why Zamazenta didn't get Body Press in Gen 8 when both were debuted. GF really said "only our favorite child gets to go to uber college" last gen.
Gen 9 vgc is so fun to watch since shit youd never expect is coming back in the most powercrept gen Articuno That one team with gloom and dewgong And now hyper beam getting a win in a high level match. Lovely
So would using electro ball while breaking the speed barrier under trick room do insane damage? Since your speed is around 8000 and there’s is around 1500
The 4th factor in Arceus type viability, much like megas its taking up your Arceus slot. A lot of these types would be more usable if you didnt have the opportunity cost of losing on Fairy or Ekiller for using them
FFS... All they had to do to avoid this, is a fucking if statement that just flips the '>' to a '<' when trick room is up, but the Pokemon devs don't know how to write fucking code, so we get this..
Max Sp.Atk Modest shuckle with power split (not the popular "power •trick•" move) with 3 Sp.Atk moves, use Power Split on the enemy Sp.Sweeper to steal like haf their Sp.Atk, have fun! - I'll reply to myself with a more in-depth explanation but it's a lot of words lol
I enjoy running Modest Max Sp.Atk Max HP shuckle with 3 special attacks and power swap (not the normal "power trick"), which finds the avg between shuckle's and the opponent's Atk & Sp.Atk stats. -✨️ Obviously you want to use it on an enemy with a high Sp.atk, nearly cutting their stat in half, & bringing yours up quite a bit -✨️ (I haven't run the numbers but it might even be close to or better than a nasty plot & it also lowers the enemy's stat, so kind of like a nasty plot plus a Sp.Atk lowering move in one) -✨️ With 3 special moves, 1 bug, 1 rock, 1 coverage, it doesn't rock the world or anything but it is a really bulky special Attacker. -✨️ Yes in some ways its like a regular bulky Sp. Attacker that gives up a turn but I don't think it's that bad as it cripples the Sp.Atk stat of the enemy Sp.sweeper in the process, slightly better than taking a bulky pokemon & having it use nasty plot turn 1 -✨️ Please let me know your impressions of the idea :) it's a ton of words to describe but in practice it is simple: Get shuckle, build it the way described, press 1 move on a Special sweeper 😊
10:19 bruh you're gross lol. "Theres no pride in washing dishes by hand when dishwashers exist." That 1st world well off mindset always gets me lol. Imagine saying hand knitting a hat is nothing to be proud off cause a machine in taiwan makes 1,000 of them in the same time it took you to make one. Big yikers
In Red/Blue Rescue Team, you only need a Lvl 90 or higher holding a Friend Bow to recruit Kecleon. It's a bit easier to recruit. I did so and then used it for Purity Forest because Kecleon is a menace in that Lvl 1 dungeon.
