So somewhere in the galaxy, there are six Federation battlecruisers that can warp into a fight that has already started, whop the enemy's ass and warp back out again and leave the crews on both sides wondering; "Who / What the Hell were those?!" I approve!

By ship design, Terran and Federation ships basically look like just another ship class of their respective fleets. They will blame and report the federation... if they survive the Terran phasers, and Tri-colbalt Torpedoes. Its still considered a secret vessel if no one is alive to report about seeing it.

Far more powerful weapons, yet with less powerful shields … So that means that battles in the Mirror Universe were over far quicker, as they were all glass cannons.

I was wondering about that to. I would give that ship a upgrade in shields before I would take it to a fight. Like the galaxy class it looks like you could turn it into a oversized steam runner easy enough for them little things that pop up like the Borg or Dominion problems. It's OK to be a nice guy but when you have bad guys that look at that as weakness it's good to have ships you can use to go total Klingon with.

@casbott It kind of makes sense, most shield advancement came from the federation desire to protect their crews, heavy scientific research and recovered Borg shield technology which was then copied or stolen by other species. The Mirror verse was more interested in weapons research, had the ' just succeed or die trying ' mentality, lost valuable research time and personnel during its collapse and fell behind or stagnated compared to the prime universe.

Seriously, Paramount- or whoever owns Star Trek now- really needs to hire you as a continuity consultant or something. You have a talent for spinning a narrative that not only entertains, but also makes sense. Trek is so expansive now that I think the franchise as a whole would definitely benefit from your guidance.

I think most franchises would benefit from having a dedicated loremaster or group/council of loremasters overseeing continuity and keeping an in house nonpublic database of the grand sum of the canon they are in charge of stewarding, adjusting or carefully retconning it as necessary and only when necessary. They would also be involved with the production and quality assurance processes to make sure everything lines up alright, giving feedback and alterations to either the proposed work or established canon.

I quite like the idea of the Mirror universe Terrians going back to being an empire, just with changes reflecting its history, such as them going back to conquering, but instituting equity and equality for all conquered worlds and banning slavery. Shows the core message at the heart of Star Trek, that things will get better and we will forge peace, throwing on some muddy layers of grey.

If the Mirror Universe Cygnus class' weapons were more powerful than other Starfleet ships in the normal universe, then I can't imagine how powerful the mirror universe Kelvin Timeline Constitution class must be.

The bazaar collectors on this ship make the most sense to me of anything ever created by Star Trek lore, in my opinion, the very best design. I hope that doesn't upset anyone but really it makes the most sense to me in my mind for how one works when I look at the original concept by the real scientist conceived idea

Interesting...years ago a Connie crosses over to the Mirror Universe and becomes the test bed for a new line of ships and now the ISS Cygnus crosses over for the Federation to use for new Tech. The two Universes are way to closely intertwined.

What I never got is starfleet should incorporate the best technologies into all its vessels not to use it at a whim but to have it as a deterrent in case they need it. That is how we used it when I was in the U.S. Army.

The Husnock our a race that if the Borg were able to assimilate would have increase their strength and knowledge immensely. The Husnock where very powerful because they have hornist the Omega Particle and they use it in their weapons one called the Omega Particle Canon OPC as told in Star Trek Titan Fortunes of war, One shot on minimal power almost destroyed the USSTitan.

Swans may look foo-foo, but they can be as I'll tempered and territorial as geese. We used to use geese as security when we raised livestock, they do not give any F's if you enter the yard, be you human, or animal and you did not belong there they would attack.

Bro, that was not the Mirror Universe. Why in the multiverse can't people get the difference between parallel universe's and alternate timelines correct? It's so aggravating! Love your show man. But when you let in blatant inaccuracies it makes it hard to suspend disbelief and simply enjoy.

Hello never mind I’m just scrambling a bit but do you think the class could’ve been ended up in section 31 they really like there a multi-verses and getting powerful chips to protect the federation I didn’t cost. And if you work for section 31 leave your idealsm your sensibilities and your dreams behind these things do not last long in the world of section 31.
