They got Stockholm. They completely memory-holed Genderfluid 5's failures! Also, this game's whole gimmick involves global warming propaganda! This game manages to be even worse than Vantard.

I thought the same thing as soon as they said there's no campaign. Why would anyone pay full price for a game with a huge part of it missing? Don't care if you don't play campaign, it's a huge part of the package and only a dummy is cool with losing it for no reason

No be smarter about your pre orders. I think good companies that focus on quality games and listen to their audience we should show our support. Now once that trust is broken(CDPR) then that company should no longer be supported. But AA studios and studios like Techland who focus on the fans and genuinely want to make a great game should be supported. But yes I agree as far as the main AAA games should never be pre ordered any longer. Cyberpunk 2077 was when I felt the most betrayed

@Francis OfFilth There is no being "smarter about your pre orders" other than just never pre-ordering. OK, personally, I'm not interested in having a 'cool'/advantageous pre-order item(s) for a game anyway, let alone for a game that's likely to be shite anyway... and there is a strong correlation between those two things. Hey, I'm looking forward to Elden Ring, but I'm sure not going to pre-order it, and I'm not even going to buy it for at least 2-4 weeks until after launch, ESPECIALLY as it was "nominated" (like by who?) "Most Anticipated Game of the Year at the Game Awards". Like, wtf is that now? I've never seen such before! Basic law of 'free-market economics'; if you have a worthy, cost balanced product, people will buy it. It won't need no "Most Anticipated..." pre-launch award that some marketing consultancy just pulled out of their arse.

well Iam doing like year after release ... even now in 2022 I still have backlog 100+ titles I bought for a penny that are realy good but I didnt have time to get to yet. I realy dont know why people buying these games.

Same. I was dumb enough to get the tricentennial edition for $80 out of my ignorance. I was blinded by the idea of finally having a online fallout.. And paid dearly for it. I maybe have 8 hours in it, and even after all the updates, it doesn't interest me in the least.. especially with how linear they made the gunplay.. or melee-play I should say, because ammo is so incredibly rare and expensive, melee is all your forced to use in early and mid game. I will never pre-order another game as long as I live. Even if it's a franchise I'm absolutely in love with.

I've been telling triple A projects to "go to hell" since Halo 3 when the industry was blatantly telling it's consumers "We know you bought 'this', but if you don't buy 'these' .. You won't be able to use it. Halo 3, exiled from multiplayer if you didn't buy the shit dlc maps. Ypu simps still perpetuate the climate; pre-ordering these broken dumpster fires LOYALLY while getting ass rammed. Either the customer base is lower in IQ than a Chimp with down syndrome, got money to burn, or both. Thanks simps, I'm still enjoying games from 2008 thanks to you ruining the product base.

Interesting. I took one look at the mech suits in Anthem when it was first announced and thought "the entire game will pivot around microtransactions for your suit". Ive played a bit of Everspace 2. Its decent.

Excellent spot. Ive never noticed that before and Ive probably re-watched that clip over 10 times. Good skills mate.

Its a multiplayer game, of course they were going for this route sooner or later. Im more surprised it too so long. Simply because Crytek is hurting for bank since ~2013 or so. Its a miracle for Crytek to still be here after all their failed managment.

Update: Uninstalled when the next update dropped. They are continuing to casualize the game while game breaking exploits go unaddressed for weeks, making the game actually unplayable. The servers were slowly getting worse before but now they are fucking dreadful, with even the best connections getting connection errors every other game. There are cosmetic DLCs with every minor update, and yet another store tab has just been hyped up as if they thought we actually want more cosmetics and not like, actual server/gameplay improvements and bug fixes. I've downgraded Crytek from "they fucked up my favorite game" to "NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CRYTEK EVEN AGAIN, HOLY SHIT"

@Sunny Jim a lot of people like to watch things that bolster their already entrenched opinions. subconsciously wanting to be swayed. It's a very human condition. Getting in on the hype is all part of it for some people. It's like a drug. The fear of not being on ground zero when the new thing releases. Its sad really, to see how willfully ignorant mankind is..... ....and not being in a position to use it to take over the world.
