If you enjoy walking or hiking, find that you get tight or sore after walking long distances, or experience leg cramps, then this video is for you!
As we age, it's especially important to build strength for everyday tasks, work on flexibility to prevent injury, and maintain mobility in order to move around pain-free and with ease. This is a workout suitable for Adults 50+, Seniors, or beginners.

I'm from New Jersey, 61 years old. I just started walking every day about 2 weeks ago. I got a new fit bit and am trying to do at least 5000 steps a day. I know I need to stretch. I can feel it as I'm walking, but I wasn't sure what to do. I really enjoyed your video. You're very nice and personable. I'm proud of myself, and that's not something i say very often. I walk in my neighborhood. It's nice and peaceful. Thank you for sharing this video.😊😊😊

Thank you for making this video ❤ I'm 45. I walk 3+ miles every day. Three-mile minimum. Usually, 4 miles is the sweet spot. I walk in my neighborhood. When I just go without warming up or stretching... I certainly feel the difference (ie. pain). I watch your video at 1.5x speed and I'm going to start doing these every day before my walk.

Thank you for sharing these I have been trying to find warm up exercises . I live in Mount Shasta Ca and can't go out walking by myself because all the streets are up and down hills. So when I found your videos " IT MADE MY DAY " . I bought some folding hairs and have one close by for exercises. I also just found out and bought an AERO TRAINER . So now I am changing one of our smaller rooms into my workout/ sewing / music room, and I am so excited to get this done so I can get a routine down. I am also having a tv so I can still watch your videos and do them. I want to thank you again for getting me all excited about being able to workout again..❤🙏❤🙏

I did this. Arizona osteoporosis and RA.I have wanted to walk more but out of shape. I will walk in a few days. Thanks I will watch over and over all exercises.

I love these stretches. I can feel the difference after walking on the days I did the stretches before my walk and on the days I did not. It really helps keep your calf muscles from getting really tight. As a family we love hiking, especially in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and also the trails in Southern Maine. Usually we just walk around the local conservation trails or our neighborhood with our dog. We also visit the local conservation trails for birdwatching and biking.

So glad I found this video. Have been doing your exercises for a week now and defintely feel an improvement. Have had back and hip pain for 2 years and haven/t been exercising since covid. Thank you. These are easy to do and resemble the ones I did at Silver Sneakers.

I love to walk at the beach, At a park called Lake Monger Im not good at finding new places. I also like to walk in my street, But sore back and legs and unhappiness keeps me home. I don't have a dog like your dear Stanley. Perth WA winter rain sunshine.

Thank you so much for this warm up! I just finished it & I liked it. I usually go out for walks around my neighborhood, we have good sidewalks to walk on. This morning though, my husband & I are heading out for a bike ride on a local bike trail.

I live in London so mostly walk on the pavement {sidewalk}? Sometimes walk up to Hyde Park or Battersea Park. would love to walk on the beach though!

Hi Meg, Thank you for your reply. I really enjoy your videos! I would value some videos around warm up and cool down routines that one can do when they exercise.
