When preparing for your solar consultation, it really helps to write all of your main questions down so that you can make sure to leave the meeting with all of your answers. Too many times the solar salesperson wants to take you through a presentation designed to lead your brain down a hallway straight to the sale without really exploring all the important aspects along the way. While it is definitely important to listen to everything the solar consultant has to say, it is equally important to make sure all of your main questions get answered. So, write them down in advance so you don't forget!

Hey Julian, I’m manager of a team within a solar sales door-to-door company. I totally agree with your perspective on the PPA. I’m having issues with my Solar EPC company that I manage for at the moment. I don’t believe in their sales tactics(PPAs are just more commission across the board but imo bad for the homeowners family). How do I get in contact with you? I’d like to work for the best of the best.

What can you share on how to prepare to talk about completely off-grid systems like Paladin or similar systems and to best compare them? I know there are some of these in the San Diego area and might even be your customers. I see tech like Tesla as the flip phone comparison, and Paladin type tech as the smart phone comparison of off-grid home power tech. Thank You

Personally my experience is with grid tied solar products. I would check out Will Prowse’s DIY solar channel.

Off-Grid systems products like Paladin works with installers like yourself and attend the trade shows, as I understand. I was in one of their accredit investor presentations and was extremely impressed. Wondering how many other systems like that exist and figure you might know. Plus they have systems installed your area already. This is very Very VERY likely the future of your industry and brings options previously not possible, including the ability to hookup multiple sources of power productions, AC & DC, solar, generators, maybe even an exercise bike to charge systems and all at the same time. You need to know about this. Looking forward to your research videos. Thanks
