When Edgeworth adhered to this policy, he looked badass doing it. When Aristotle Means adhered to it, he intentionally murdered a woman to prevent his little bribery scam from getting out, then tried to "Do the right thing by whatever means he saw fit" by defending Juniper so that that she'd be cleared, and the whole murder would be forgotten. That way of thinking isn't dangerous. It depends on the people who apply it.
